J2 Gold Panel

• J2s first rule of Supernatural is don't talk about Supernatural lol. They talk about getting a Do Not Reveal list before Comic Con, now they just get told to shut up about the plots.
• J2 are asked to give a plot for fan's writing class. They say they're not writers! They tell the fan to write it and they will turn it into a script.
• A fan thanks Jared for the AKF campaign and thanks Jensen for supporting Jared. Jensen: That's what family does.
• Why no bromances for Sam but Dean cornered the market? Jensen: It's cause Dean's a wh**e.
• Jared: Sam gets a friend this year.
• Fan asks how many Impalas are used. They say many: some are full cars, some partial builts (like no roof), some stunt cars...They had to make an insert car for the Baby episode. Six total Impalas in Baby ep but only three working.
• The Baby ep is jam packed with Sam and Dean.
• Any scenes that are emotionally grueling scenes? J2: Many grueling days. There are days when Jared gets lost in Sam, like in Sacrifice, Croatoan, and Heart. Jensen says where Dean tells Sam about hell, how he had to walk off the emotions.
• J2 talk about the barn showdown in S4. A demon bad guy was snoring while playing dead. J2 were having to hide their faces.
  
• Jensen got very emotional playing the scene when he was sitting next to dead Sam. Jensen told Kim Manners he didn't know how many takes he could do. They ended up doing two.
• What stopped Dean with Mark of Cain from killing Cas? J2: Misha has a contract and we wouldn't be able to take a day off lol.
• J2 do a Dean Cain joke lol.
• Jared says it's hard to play dead when camera is doing a close up. Jensen says it's hard to hold breath and not make closed eyes move.
• Jared finds it harder to do lighter comedy Sam stuff because Sam is more serious. Says Sam is an ethereal type of character. Not hard for them to play emotions. Talks about how crying is easier because the actor is physically feeling it along with the character.
• Jensen finds it easier to do comedic episodes. Talks about how Richard just directed and did well. Jensen enjoys acting in comedic eps.
• Fan made a joke about the Harvelle roadhouse getting burned down and Sam and Dean comment, "No Ash." Jensen says on set they say, "No joke too cheap."
• Any continuity/plot holes they want to fix? Jensen: Leviathans. Though, he appreciated the Dick jokes and good eps in the season.
• Jared asks fan what plot holes they would fix? Fan: Adam. Jensen: AHHH! Adam!
• The subject of Adam does get brought up in an upcoming episode.
• Would they use iron rings to fight ghosts? Jared: Oooh! We'd be like Criss Angel!
• They joke about S11 having exploding salt vests and bungee weapons.

• Boys arrive on stage playing along with the band, Jared on cowbell, Jensen the tambourine.
• Rich says Jared was given a cowbell so he can't destroy it. Jensen destroyed the tambourine instead.
• They survey the crowd for first timers. Jared: One of my favorite things to do- Jensen: You can't say that.
• Jared to first timers: Welcome to the family. You're surrounded by ppl who love and support you, including us.
• Will SPN ever have a deaf character on the show? Jared says there is a character coming up that knows sign language.
• Jensen tells a story about splitting his face open one time and make-up fixed it so Dean has no scars on the show. Jared: So Jensen's face could be soft as a baby's butt.
• Jared calls Jensen's scar "Volde-scar" because they're not supposed to talk about it lol.
• Jensen says he went out with friends and had drinks. Hopped on planter on way home walking on the street in VanCity and feet slipped. Chin split open. Jared is touching Jensen's chin trying to find where his scar is. Jensen called ambulance and got chin fixed. Tracking marks had to go on his face so make-up can fix the scar for shooting.
• Fan asks about relationship advice. How do you get a person you like to like you back? Jensen: Are you asking Jensen or Dean?
• Jensen acts out how Jared would do it. They acted out how Jared was crushing on Genevieve on set. Jared pretended to be Gen trying to read while Jensen pretended to be Jared trying to ask Gen out and sitting on the ground next to Jared and watching him read like Jared did to Gen lol.
• Jared: Be yourself and let it happen organically.You are the only person who can be you!
• Jensen: If you're dating someone and they go to an SPN con BOOM you're in.
• Jared: Mark said something really funny to me on set the other day. Jensen: WHAT?
• They bust Mark Sheppard for taking too long in a scene lol. Joke about if you want longer scenes to hire British actors and they start doing accents.
• Jensen thinks the brothers are perhaps straying away from being heroes but Sam steered them back in the premiere with the Winchester mission statement. They're back to saving people even if they're afflicted with something.
• Jared: The brothers get back to being heroes. And lots of shirtless Jensen lol.
• Jared says sometimes good intentions lead to hell. It's the human struggle portrayed by the boys.
• On the Mockumentary: J2 tried to play on the stereotypes of Hollywood and working actors. It was a collaborative effort. They know people who were like that and it was fun to make fun of them.
• Jared: I feel like Donald Trump right now - "It's not a wig it's not a wig. Touch my hair. TOUCH IT!" Jensen touches his hair.
• Jensen saw Richard go into dad mode while directing. Richard: "Jensen, let's go! I don't have time for this!" Richard was calling J2 by their character names while directing because he was so into it.
• The ep Richard directed is hilarious, they were crying of laughter.
• Jensen says the fun they have on set is brutal on director who is worried about filming time. They don't care cause they have a job tomorrow lol.
• J2 ordered a pizza last night. "What was the pizza we ordered last night called? Cicholli? Civichina..?" "It was pizza."
• Pizza toppings? Jared: I hate olives but love olive oil. I love chicken but not on pizza. Jensen makes fun of Jared and how he orders pizza at Domino's. Jensen likes pepperoni and jalapenos. Jared likes mushrooms and onions.
• Fan asks about inspiration and advice on being aspiring actor. Jensen: Inspiration now is fans appreciating his work. Be a sponge and absorb all. Jared says always be willing to learn regardless how many years in the business.
• Jared has always been interested in the human struggle. Jared stresses always being yourself. He says that every single human being has a story here. He wants to give them a voice. Says to keep your head up.
• Cologne they wear? Jared: Old Spice high endurance deodorant.
• Jared: I'm not telling you what cologne I wear then I won't be unique. Jensen: You'll always be unique.
• Jensen wears many colognes and rotates them.
• Jared sleeps naked. Jensen: I didn't know that. Jared: You knew thattt. Jensen: Fan fiction sales skyrocket.
• Most memorable story with Clif? Clif: Ah! I have all the stories!. Jensen: Clif has a memoir and it will not be released!
• Jared says there have been too many good memories with Clif, especially when he needed Clif emotionally. They both talk about what great guy and friend he is.
• Weirdest thing ever done on SPN? Jensen: I'll never forget being tied to a plank in lederhosen. Jared: Doing a herpes commercial! French Mistake, the nutcracker...
• Fan: After Supernatural- J2 throw their chairs, stomp on tambourine, gets in fans face.
• Hypothetical after SPN, would you do theater? Jensen: I did that, it didn't take. It was tough. I think it's cool, I wouldn't say no to it. Jared: Me too!
• Opinion of people asking for photos on the street? Jared doesn't mind.
• Jensen: "Get away from me, look at this face!"
• Jared is fine with people asking for his picture in the street. He likes to walk around to get grounded in places he's been before. Jared likes to visit places he's been before. Loves TO, loves remembering what he did there, where he's been.
• Jensen: It's always great when fans come up to say they love the show but don't appreciate those who don't know them asking for photos. Jared would rather someone come up to him to ask for pics instead of sneaking selfies in the background.
• Last night someone across the room was taking a selfie with J2 from like four tables away and they were like???
• Jensen impersonated a fangirl and Jared's like, "Jensen, you saw me yesterday."
• Jensen says Jared has selfie arm lol. They demonstrate how to take a J2 selfie on stage.
• "If you see us outside of the convention come say hi, you're family."
• Challenge for Sam and Dean if they switch bodies? Jensen: Struggle with resisting shaving his head. Jared: Bathroom mirror. I would have to jump!
• The original draft of Swap Meat was with Dean and Sam but the writers changed it.
• Rob comes out and sees dead tambourine. J2: OMG Richard, what did you do?! Rob asks why the tambourine is dead. Rich: The musk is too strong. Blame the musk has a theme song now.
• Jensen: In cooking they call this a reduction (talking about Rob playing the broken pieces of the tambourine.)
• Rob said his favorite smell is Jensen and Jared said me too.
• Last question was for J2 to do their best Boston accents. Jensen tells story about flight attendant in Boston dropping the F-bomb on the PA.

My Jared autograph was something that I'm going to remember for the rest of my life. The mere thought of it brings tears to my eyes. As some of you may know, i used to self-harm as my way of coping with things, and a year ago I decided that I was going to stop cold turkey. It hasn't been easy but it has been worth it.

I was waiting in line, watching him sign other peoples, and seeing him smile. He first complimented me on my Always Keep Fighting shirt. I went up to him and had my bracelet in my hand, contemplating giving it to him. I shyly asked him if I could. I told him that I used bracelets every month as motivation cause I loved them and they were so simple. I asked if I could give it to him because it is my 1 year clean bracelet and it would mean a lot. He looked at me and smiled and said "a year! Congratulations!" He took the bracelet and put it on his right wrist and smiled. He then said "I'm so proud of you, always keeping fighting." then he hi five me and held onto my hand tightly. I told him i couldn't have done it without him and I swear he had tears in his eyes and said "you're so strong, I'm going to keep fighting for you and I want to see you next year when you are two years clean!"

Then after that I burst into tears and Clif laughed and said comforted me.
