Welcome to Sanjeevani Hospital. A medical drama following the lives of 5 first-year surgical interns, Anjali (Sunaina Gulla), Sapna (Muskaan Mehani), Armaan (Karan Singh), Atul (Pankitt Thaker) and Riddhima (Shilpa Anand). From work tensions, complicated relationships to a learning ground, Dill Mill Gayye is the story and struggle of young people wanting to become doctors and who are about to discover that neither medicine nor relationships can be perfectly defined anymore! Starting August 20, 2007 tune into STAR One at 9pm to catch your weekly dose of pyaar, mohabbat, relationships, fun, betrayal, complications and operations!

Adding to all this excitement, Dill Mill Gayye will feature Dr. Shashank Gupta, played by none other than Mohnish Behl, who returns to Sanjeevani as the dean for the 7 interns this time. Not only is he a father figure, but also a strict disciplinarian who takes the new generation to tough tasks!

On the eve of the show launch Mohnish Behl says, "It's indeed great to be a part of this show again. I have some lovely memories of Sanjeevani and I am very sure that Dill Mill Gayye will stir up the magic from where we left off. My new interns are full of spunk, energy and commitment… The viewers are sure to love them."

The show promised to be a complete entertainer with elements of fun, emotions, love, betrayal and drama - all packaged for them once a week!"

Dill Mill Gayye, set in Sanjeevani Hospital, is where five interns struggle to form friendships in the most stressful and competitive atmosphere. The is show revolves around the story of our protagonist, Dr Anjali, along with other interns who face different challenges at various stages of their internship ranging from medical cases, jealousy, emotional break downs, frustration and achievements to their inter-personal relationships which will all face the test of time…

Meet the new interns at Sanjeevani…

Dr. Anjali - The daughter of Dr. Shashank who is now under the constant pressure of graduating as a competent doctor, just like her father.
Dr. Sapna - The non-stop chatter box.
Dr. Armaan - The rich, good-looking brat who develops a soft corner for Anjali.

• Dr. Riddhima - Dr. Shashank's younger daughter… the warm hearted, kind and good natured girl.

Dill Mill Gayye is a show aimed at the urban educated youth. Set in the backdrop of a hospital it deals with the pressures, the drama, the romance, the inter personal relationships and humour in the lives of young doctors. Keeping the environment of a hospital in mind, the characters of the show are real, their issues are believable and the approach is dramatic, but never unreal, albeit emotional and fun filled.

Hence, our protagonist Riddhima is a 21-year-old intern with dreams and aspirations of becoming a top class doctor. Like any other youngster of today, she has spunk and the spirit to have fun. What sets her apart is her ability to ride through the roughest storms relying on the honesty and integrity, which has been a part of her upbringing. Riddhimma has all the ingredients of being a competent yet compassionate doctor and her faith never falters when following the right path be it a complex medical case or a real life situation.

Also, alongside Riddhima we have some other young characters, representing the wide and varied lifestyles in India. The spitfire, focused and at times selfish Anjali, the rich, charming and laid-back lover boy Armaan, the anxious to please very Gujrati and a middle class girl Sapna and the always sweet appealing to all girls is Atul.

These 4 along with Riddhima will take us through the various ups- and downs of todays focused yet fun filled youth.

so its simple they both means armaan & riddhima is the main leads
