What was so special about YJHD?

😉 a lot of people liked this movie. It had a great chemistry between the leads. Ranbir and Deeps. But there was nothing new about the concept. KJO has had maximum success as a director and producer. What was so special about YJHD? Please share your thoughts. 😲

If you ever find the answer to this question, do let me know as well please. I genuinely don't get why people liked that film. My father left the theatre after the first half (which was at least enjoyable in bits) and I still regret why I didn't join him.

Ranbir and Deeps might flop with Tamasha, which looks crappier than YJHD. 😲

audience choice varies a lot. Sometimes hit music is more than enough to get the film blockbuster status- Ashiqqui 2, YJHD and sometimes even hit music doesn't help the film at all- Roy.

I ONLY liked the songs😆 dp looked pretty and acted good in it. But didn't had a story to the movie

aashqiue 2 was a good film and had a good music in it as well

What's good in YJHD -

Songs, Kalki and evylyn(she was funny)

Bad - bunny 🤢

I hated him in the movie

I liked Deepika in it.

I loved Kalki's character.

Hated Ranbir's character.

Music was good.

Forgot the storyline though 😆

Don't get the appeal with hero as being a man-child and the heroine having to wait for him to grow up. That being said I really liked Deepika and KAlki in it. Deepika was better in this one than Ram Leela.
