13 CR endorsement deal for VIDYA BALAN

Vidya Balan is rarely seen in anything other than heavy silk saris when she makes public appearances.

In a recent interview, the actor even said, "Every woman must have a kanjeevaram or a banarasi sari in her wardrobe."

Now, apparently, Vidya will be part a year-long campaign of a silk sari brand, and she has been offered a whopping sum of '13cr for it. A source close to the actor says that the owners of the line feel that Vidya is perfect choice for them.

"About two weeks ago, Vidya was approached by the silk sari brand. She has been offered around '13 crore. The brand's owners feel that Vidya is perfect to promote their products as she has a pan-Indian appeal," says the source, adding that Vidya is considering the offer, but she hasn't given her nod yet.

"She is particular about all her professional commitments - be it her movies or ad campaigns. She will take a call soon," says the source.
