I guess its not hard to understand Shreya's Kabir obsession now. Since her emotional breakdown seems to be the result of her failed affairs and Kabir was the only one who stuck to her despite all her OTTness, he bore her insults, her tantrums, her passive-aggressive behavior stoically and stayed with her, so maybe in her warped mind she thinks she can only be "herself" with him and still have him!

lizzie I think she simply wants to own him...others had refused...so she comes back to him...assuming he is still that soft hearted honest simple Kabir Sharma who will fall for her...she doesnt love or want him as life partner

Thanks Sony. This is actually very triggering to me, as someone who has witnessed family members with mental problems and as a consequence seen how society treats them and also the people close to them. Its hard to battle their demons but as family you are forced to and it can take a toll on you. Its sad in a way that Shreya has no one on her side to help her deal with her disorder.
That's why I said what I said, that its so convenient for the writers to stick a label on Shreya and go on with their story, because, who can fault them now right? They've covered their asses by tying up this loose end in a nice, neat little ribbon, they have explained Shreya's OTT behavior in a convenient way, by putting a nice little label on it! And who's going to care that she has BPD or whatever? Everyone hates her anyway! And everyone is rooting for KaYa! So what harm does it do if they taint a character that everyone hates further?? If its triggering to someone with BPD or someone close to them who cares? They don't write stories to please everyone, do they? God forbid they write something sensible to raise awareness and compassion about a very real disease and a very real problem! I'm not even going to talk about the inaccuracy of the diagnosis as Shreya shows none of the classical BPD symptoms!

Lizzie, I completely agree. I think they should have just left her as an ambitious, cunning, obsessive person. It would have made more sense and would not have reduced our hatred for her anyway. Even without declaring her to suffer from BPD, they had still convinced us how dangerous she was and to what extent she could go to get Kabir all for herself.

exactly my point...if they would have continued with the way she started..just being too ambitious and all...and being obsessed with having Kabir back in her life...that was enough...but they totally went the cliched way...and now she is almost unbelievable...

I know we are never going to get this but I want Anita and Ananya to retrospect on what damage they have inflicted upon themselves in trying to be cordial and friendly with Shreya. Agree the Sudhir Kashyap murder case was going to make a comeback but some of the things that Shreya did could have been avoided.
