Look I was appalled at first, but I'm happy Aaliyah sort of escaped. It sucks that the blame fell on someone else, but in the larger scheme of things if Aaliyah had been caught what would that have led to? Nothing good that's for sure. Abhi would have thrown Aaliyah out of the house. That would have hurt him a lot more than it would have hurt Aaliyah. Then what? Pragya couldn't even comfort him...so who would get that honour? Tanu 🤢 blech. Excuse me while I go vomit. Tanu would try and take advantage. Purab could come and try and talk him down, but we all know that no one would be able to calm Abhi the way that only Fuggy's return could. And that would have never happened, because P is still bound to the vow that she made to Daadi. And even if Aaliyah had been caught for this stupid scratch drama, she would have still essentially escaped - because this is NOT WHAT SHE SHOULD BE PUNISHED FOR!!!! That would be like me murdering someone only to later be arrested for punching some random in the face. Aaliyah is trying to ruin her brother --- this is the truth that needs to be exposed to Abhi, not shady dealings. Shady dealings are the least of what Aalu is trying to do. It's the tip of the iceberg. So I'm glad the plan failed in a way. The kicker is that the plan still succeeded: we got Aaliyah out of Abhi's business...but who made this happen? No one other than Abhi. Abhi is singlehandedly saving himself. Every time one of PraDaBul's plans fail --- Abhi has somehow managed to turn it around in their favor. Bring him aboard now Daadi! Do it now! Dooo it!

Loved how Abhi apologized for slapping Aaliyah, but did not show over emotions and still punished Aaliyah. He never has held Aaliyah high after MMS, BB murder etc. He knows what she is, he can handle her when time comes.

He just did the right thing, and he was pissed off with everything, because his music is released without his knowledge and his people are careless and cheating.

This is what I just don't get either Tia.

No one seems to think that he'll just blindly trust and why is that?

I can understand him asking P for proof during the MMS track, because she was no one to him then. She didn't matter. They weren't even friends. He just saw her as the wretch that had lied to him about being who she wasn't and had kept him in his revenge marriage while she had her eyes on someone else.

Just because he asked for proof from her then --- doesn't mean he'll do it now. Their relationship has evolved. And what gets me is that EVERYONE has their say when it comes to what abhigya's relationship is except for abhigya. Just because you've heard the stories doesn't mean you know all. It's one thing to hear that P was: tricked into a marriage, then fell in love, watched him love another, weathered the storm only to emerge from it with Abhi ultimately loving her back. Because this is the version that Daadi and RaBul know. It's like reading chapter 1, 5, and 9 of a 13 chapter book. You only get slivers of the full story. No one knows what went on behind closed doors. Only Pragya and Abhi know this. Only Abhi and Pragya know what their relationship is. No one else.

So when Pragya tells Daadi that she wants to tell him the truth, who is Daadi to say that she needs to do roundabout plans in order for Abhi to believe her?

I can excuse Pragya keeping what she's keeping from him. I may not agree with it. I don't like it. But I can kinda understand where she's coming from. She wanted to tell him everything - but then Daadi emotionally blackmailed her (in front of God no less! TWICE!) in to keeping quiet. P's mindset before being roped in by Daadi was: I'll tell him the truth. If he believes me, then he believes me. He has a right to know that he is being conned. She wanted to tell him. And if he didn't believe her well then that was his business, because she wasn't going to stick around to watch him raise another man's child. Why should she?

And how did Daadi read that? Daadi read that as weakness. That P was running away. Pragya did not say that Abhi wouldn't believe her. She basically let the doubt hang there. But that's all that was at the time - doubt.

Enter Daadi and Purab - two people who claim to know Abhi the best and yet they too seem to think Abhi won't believe them either. Did something happen in the past, off screen, that we the viewers haven't seen to make these two feel that way?

Pragya has a litany of confidence issues. This show did an amazing job of highlighting this within earlier episodes (first 7 months). Her low self esteem is shot. Considering what she's been though, I don't blame her. But what I would have liked to see is Daadi and Purab reassure her in some way that that little bit of doubt that she had had was all for naught. Instead their behaviour just fed in to earlier insecurities.

I don't even blame BB. She loves to pester Abhi, but she doesn't know him to a tee. She's going on what she's seen. And past behaviour when it comes to all the Mehra's tells her that they all want proof before hearing stories. So BB has no reason to think otherwise and expect differently from her Jiju.

Daadi's behaviour makes me wonder just how much of the truth did she find out? Because sometimes I feel like she's punishing Abhi. That in addition to punishing Aaliyah, Tanu, and all the slackers in MM --- she's punishing her grandson, because he dared to revenge marry P. Because that has to be it - or else, her behaviour is stone cold and I have no words.

As for Purab. He'll crack. He always does. Or either BB will. Past history proves this. Which is why, as awful as it sounds --- I want Abhi to say something so horribly terribly awful to Pragya in their presence that it forces BB or Purab to spill everything.

BB stepped up and told the truth when Abhi tried to rip P's MS from her neck, and Purab has been known to burst in to feel-explosions when things get testy - like when he was trying to get Abhi to admit to himself that he loves Pragya.

But it just bothers me how everyone thinks that Abhi won't take things at face value.
