I think he has feelings for Twinkle. He may not know it or he may disguise it as revenge for the sake of his mother. He has never harmed Twinkle physically or emotionally until Kunj came on the scene. He must have had many an opportunity to force himself on her, he never has. He has been a gentleman with her except for the drunken act during the party and kidnapping her right after the contest. So unbeknownst to himself, he has fallen for Twinkle but now that Kunj is on the scene, his so called gentler side has been completely overtaken by revenge mode and he has reverted to being Anita Luthra's bad son. At least that is my fanciful thinking :)
