Surya's words took away the breath of Tejaswini.She raised her head from vikram's chest And murmured "murder" ??

Now, again Vikram embraced her and brought her under his hug. Surya ,Noticing the presence of Tejaswini he moved little away where their words could not reach her.

"Sir! How could you be so sure?" asked the inspector. He nodded his head. His voice was deep and husky as he was speaking to himself and gathering what he had observed in that house.

"The fresh bouquet, arranged wardrobe, new cosmetics, healthy plants, clean kitchen with all provisions.. artistic furniture..no ...hmm" he shook his head.

"this is the not the house of a young girl who was frustrated in her life..certainly not"

"And the two coffee mugs..so some one must have visited here last night.after that she was dead..so that person must be definitely connected to this murder..Find out that first.Begin the investigation from that angle."

"Yes sir! But sir still we didn't get any strong evidences to conclude this as a murder"

" hm! I know .and we haven't got any strong motive to conclude this as a suicide as well"

"sir! May be love affairs.." Surya grimaced.

"She is not an immature teenager to finish her life for these stupid reasons I guess"

" Sir! Love and affairs has no ethics now a days and suicide is a kind of stupidity which captures us for some seconds and a blind force would drive us to do so at that moment!"

Now,suryaprakash looked straight into his eyes.He patted friendly on his shoulders.

"Still!! I believe this could not be a suicide.Ok! bring all her belongings to my table.Her mobile..laptop..hard disk..Cds..bills..documents..everything "

"yes sir"

He glanced at Tejaswini once!

"finish all the procedures soon and handover the body to her" he said.

He tucked his hands inside the pockets and stared at the body. He noticed the nicks and scratches in her neck..around the ligature mark. He bite his lips and whispered" she tried to get off the rope from her neck"

Surya Praksah threw away the postmortem report which said all the findings as ante-mortem hanging and confirmed it must be a suicide .Inspector picked up the thrown report from the ground.

"Hey sorry Mr.Ashish! " apologized Suryaprakash.

"It's ok sir"

He drew a cigarette packet from his pant pocket and stretched to him" want it?"

"NO! Thank you sir"

He lit the cigarette ..inhaled it deeply and let the smoke out restlessly.

"Okay! Take the body to their home" he said

"Sir! They all are here"

"here??where are they?"

"Infront of the mortuary"

He squeezed the cigarette under his feet and walked over to the mortuary.

Tejaswini was sitting under the tree.There was no motion in her body and no life in her eyes either. She was like a torn cloth bundle. Vikram came to surya as he saw Surya first.

"sir! How long will it take"

"Almost over they will hand over the bo...body to you now..You can take home"

"No sir! Who is there in the house? No one! And no one is there to do all the rituals properly. Teju is alone ..and I don't want her to see the body in this condition. could you please do us a favor.?"asked Vikram

Surya simply nodded

"could you please keep Teju in your custody till I finish everything in some electric crematorium?"

Surya was moved. something shook him up inside. Who is this Vikram? Why should he do all these? Why he was standing here without thinking about his food , work and his people? Surya smiled at him.

Tejaswini shook her head no! she kept the coffee mug aside.

Vikram held her hands.

"teju! Just have a cup of coffee! Please!"your health would go worse"

"Let it Go viky!For whom should I live?Her voice was dry and face was pale and swollen.

"What happened today viky! Why did she leave me all of a sudden? How could she leave me alone in this world?"

"you know ,she was very happy when I called her before leaving from Paris..day before yesterday.! She said she has a surprise for me.The bloody surprise !!"she slapped her face. Vikram caught her hands and stopped her.

"Calm down Teju!just relax"

"Viky! Viky! Please wake me up from this dreadful dream.I am dreaming something horrible now. Wake me up.just say all these are dreams..everything would be fine when I wake up. My Dhami would be waiting for me with that surprise.Come on man wake me up you fool" she got aggressive and shook him madly.

"See!! Look around the house..its empty.No one is there for me in this world..she knows it very well .she promised me to be with me always .So! she couldnot leave me.she must be here. she must be sleeping in her room" she ran to the room

"Where is she!I'll call her." She searched for the mobile and rang up to her.Dhamayanti's picture was displayed on her screen.

"see!! She is here" exclaimed Teju

"The number you have dialed is currently switched off"She heard the recorded voice..but lost the conscience to differentiate it with her sister's voice

"Dhami! Where are you! I am worried.Come here soon please..I want to see you right now.I want to say you about the dreadful dream I am dreaming now.Hello hello..dhamiii"

Vikram could not stand this. He plucked the phone from her hands.

"Teju please try to understand. Dhami is no more" he said.She sat on the bed and downed her head.

"yes she is no more! Sorry for my stupid behavior viky" she said slowly.

She remained silent for some time.

"could you please get me a cup of coffee?"she asked.

While sipping the hot coffee she asked again

"viky! Could you please get me some sleeping pills ..I want to sleep now "she said.

"but I can't leave you alone now Teju.Youare disturbed.Try to sleep Teju."

"I can't vikram!! " again tears rolled down from her cheeks.my better half who lived along with me in this house is no more.you are expecting me to sleep now"

She tried to close her eyes.she rolled ..twisted.. turned but could not sleep.

"okay I'll be back in five minutes.you just take rest okay"

"okay! Thank you" she said.

He left.
