Ranbir and Aarav have always been in the center of backlash by everyone. Everyone accuses them of being the " rotten ones " for always behaving with their mother. There are many things we fail to see .. Why we should not look at them as "spoilt" kids .. But why we should rather sympathize with them ..

Ranbir has been through the WORST.. Seen the WORST.. When he was just a kid, he was a witness to the MOST cruel thing that can happen to his parents ... DIVORCE .. He yearned for his mother's love but was never fortunate enough.. He did speak his heart out.. Why suddenly all his love for his mother .. turned into intense hatred .. When he needed his mother the most .. She was not with him ..

Aarav :

Nothing can be more painful for a boy in his early teen to go to JAIL. For TWO years he suffered a lot, unable to eat .. his mother never paid him a visit.. All his other inmates always had visitors.. Poor Aarav had NO one.. His father RAN away to the US because his mother asked him to .. His mother never visited her ONCE on the pretext that she was unable to do so .. She couldn't see her son's sufferings. But what she failed to think .. How her son would be without her ...

HATRED for his mother .. HATRED for the society is all what Aarav had in him when he returned from jail.. The prejudiced society, saw him as a CRIMINAL .. discriminated him .. This was TOO much for a teen like him to handle... So was his outburst ...

But HOW long ... This HATRED for their Mother ?

She is the one who bore them in her womb for 9 months .. Took immense pain to bring them to this world .. gave them a life ...

Thanks to their Father .. Who is behaving a lot like a responsible Father these days .. He's reprimanding both Aarav and Ranbir .. 'Ordered' them to seek forgiveness from their mother for their rude .. insulting behavior ..

One fine evening .. Aarav and Ranbir found them all alone in their house. Though there was still bitterness between them because of 'Shilpa' incident.. But they make an effort to start a conversation..

They only thing they had in mind .. Was to give away this HATRED .. Say a simple "Sorry" to their mother.. A Mother always has a BIGGG heart.. She knows "how to forget and forgive" whenever it comes to her children.. Maybe she cannot forgive her husband .. But when it's her very own dear children .. She's always the first ..

Ranbir and Aarav finally get their lessons .. They decide to go to their Mother and say a "SORRY" and give her a HUG 🤗

To make it even MORE special ... Both of decide to pen down a song for her .. Plan a surprise for her ..

It's late in the night ... Ragini takes her keys out and opens the door.. She walks in stealthily so her kids don't get disturbed and get up from their sleep..

Nachiket, Pam, Aagham, Nishi , Suhani are away on a vacation..

Once she switches ON the lights .. She gets the biggest SURPRISE of her life .. Something she had LONGED for like forever ..

She gets a HUGE HUG from both her Kids ...

"Maa .. Humein maaf kar dijiye ... Humse gaalti ho gayi hai ... Love you Maa "

This was enough to melt her tender heart ... She breaks down crying .. Tears of JOY ...

Ranbir picks up his Dad's Gibson J-160E ( guitar ) (by now everyone who have read my previous posts may be well aware that Nachiket plays guitar TOO well 😆) ... and both of them start to sing ...

This song tells about their yearning for their Mother .. How they used to remeber her .. when she was not with them ..

Half of what I say is meaningless

Awww BM!

I never knew of this song so first of all thanks for introducing me to this lovely little song.. a song of love :) And so fitting, coming from a child for his mother..

And the situation is beautiful as well, both the sons realizing how much they've pained Ragini in the process of their self-hate and their hate of everything around them in general and how they want to redeem themselves in her eyes all over again :)

BM, I like the song and I love the way you have written this piece.

But sorry, I can't agree with you about either of the kids. if they were deprived, so were the other two. I accept they have been through difficult times, but that does warrant such kind of behaviour.

Especially for Aarav. I have no sympathy for him. Probably, once he ensures his family on the streets, we can talk of some other song. He can hate his Mother all he want, but he definitely hasn't learned anything. Is totally blind to his own share of mistakes.

Ranbir - I will still give some leeway, at this moment.

Hmm .. Aarav and Ranbir MUST stop behaving 'rudely' with their Mother... They just need to tell her a simple "Sorry" .. That's enough to melt her ..

Agree .. Nothing warrants such behaviour .. But then .. they are still kids ..

They don't understand their mother's contribution in their lives .. neither does Nishi .. Agham & Suhani maybe the exceptional lot ..

Ranbir was much influenced by Pam to hate his mother ..

Aarav may not have learnt from his mistakes .. Correct .. But going to jail at such an age (even when he was not ALL guilty and then staying ALONE for two years without his parents caring to visit him) is TOO much for any teen to handle ..

Regardless .. All I look forward to .. is all kids forget their past bitterness and just say a simple "Sorry" to their Mother ..
