a cheque with no signatures...😆😆😆 saw that yesterday but tanu had her thumb on it...but today with abhi it is clear...no signature...

Even I noticed that there was no signature below the authorized signature thing.. and then wondered it if was for encashing time.. a bank officer's signature was required or something.. Don't know..

it was not a check.. it was demand draft na... so it will not have the signature of the 'producer'..

but i think there should be some bank officers stamp or something like that... i don't know much about these things..😕

A bank draft has to have the bank manager's signature..else it will not be worth the paper it is written on... 😆

It's not w cheque it's a demand draft and it doesn't require a payers signature. It needs a bank clearance stamp. Signature is not required because the payer has to order his/her bank to issue it, like a cheque book, an account holder doesn't possess a DD book. So when the order for a DD is raised, payer is authorising transfer. At the time of money collection, the manager stamps the DD to render it invalid hence forth such that the payee doesn't reuse it!

Bank draft has been made by clerk. It don't require managers s ignsture

Its has all details of bank n dd number to track dd to encase cancel or refund

Helpful post! I was wondering why signature line was blank.

So if Aliya investigates this dd, can it be traced back to Pragya's acct? Or is it funny money from a fake account?
