Sorry but I just had to make a post on Suju (i.e. Sujata) today!!! I just love this woman- she is totally 🤣 in all her scenes and I can't help myself today!
I loved her concern for Swara in the beginning. She was in total drama mode of how stressed SHE is and how the wedding must NOT happen and then when Swara said they will tell the truth, she was feeling so bad for them. Her offer of help was so cute- it was like- hmmm, I'll use my plotting powers and if I can find a way I'll help you two. 😆 I so want them to keep this Suju after the wedding too and keep her firmly in SwaSan's corner and not make her hate Swara again- please CV dadas- maan lo na?! And her leaving the room, mumbling about what she could do, clearly thinking of which bit of classic "nautanki" would work best was simply classic 😆.
Then to top it all, after all this when you think you've heard all she will say, her scene with her amazing beta- where she asks (with such glee, I almost expected her to rub her hands together 😆) whether Swara ran away?! 😲😆. She likes Swara a lot now but her mission is clear- she must protect her son from a Bengali bahu, despite the fact the son only seems to go "lattu" over Bengali girls!
Does she care that if Swara runs away it will look so bad for this girl who is already accused of this, especially given as she likes this girl, owes her one and also feels bad she's suffered injustice?! Ah no- she's so practical- it's like- well this gives me the solution I need so never mind about that. I so see where Sanskaar gets his edge from (of course he's totally more refined and not so obtuse but he will also cash in on a situation if needs must)- it's simply epic. And Sanskaar is so funny- he's so blase about his mother and eventually just asks her to leave him alone as the nautanki overdose against his precious Bengalan is getting too much 🤣.
I adore this Maa-Beta jodi and I am so rooting for Suju to stay in Team SwaSan forever!!
