Dear forum members,
If my knowledge of north Indian communities is from a reliable source and hence true, I believe
Tripathi surname represents Brahmins. Yet I find Viplav Tripathi doesn't wear a sacred thread.
Isnt it compulsory for a Brahmin youth to wear a sacred thread in north India?

Thanks for the post.
I don't know about Indian religions . But I find some ties in Viplav's hand: red and black.
