I think as much as we all dont like Usha...The show is highlighting reality...

I think ushaji is possessive & overprotective of kunj as the way she was jealous or shocked when she seen leela hugging kunj & when he gone with leela to temple as kunj is the only one who love her unconditionally

Besides that i think the way Manohar treats her made her become possessive over Kunj...

She does not want to lose him...Instead of being understanding she fights back in a negetive way
