Wow, you guys are making high-tech speculations about this watch!

I had a different idea, that finally Laksh is giving Ragini his attention and is doing more husbandly things on his own than just fending off SwaSan issues and fighting for her. She doesn't need to do crazy things to get Laksh's attention, he will gradually do it. It occurred to me that with time, the fact that Laksh will genuinely be good to Ragini will result in her growing sense of guilt at deceiving him and the basis of the marriage being a lie. She will own up to her bad deeds by herself one day when she can no longer handle the blackness in her heart, no one will have to make her do this. That will be her undoing.

As for her (mis)understanding that her good times are beginning, perhaps that is what will happen. She needs to start on the path to redemption in order to save her soul, and this is where it begins. Laksh's kindness itself combats the evil in her heart and becomes victorious.
