Part 2
Swara was welcomed to Maheshwari Mansion with a small arti done by Sujata, Sanskar's mother. Sujara was accompanied by AnuPurna (DurgaPrasad's wife) and Pari (Aadarsh's wife). As Sujata moved the arti plate in clockwise over Swara, she mumbled how she wished she could welcome her Bahu accompanied by her son. AnuPurna put her hand at Sujata's shoulder and said "Sujatabahu Kal jab Sanskar aajayenga tum hum dono ka badii aachi se ghar pravesh air Baku saari rasam bi karenge"

Swara let out a half smile as she saw that her aunt-in-law had made her mother-in-law smile with her proclamation of what they should do when Sanskar arrives.

"Chal chhori Hun tane taro room dikha doon" Sujata spoke as she ushered Swara up the stairs and into Sanskar's room.

Once they reached the room she quickly closed the door and then turned to Swara and asked "Bol chori, Maro Sanskar theek to hai na?"

"Haan Aunty vo theek hai. Jab vo ayenge na tub app kudhi dekhlene"

"Aunty? Dekho choori Hun tari Saan laagu. Mane Maa bullaya kar" she corrected Swara with a light tap on her Swara cheek.

All Swara could do was smile to the simple gesture of affection that her mother in law showered on her and then she said "Maa, sach mein vo theek hai"

"Toh tu usse tare Saat kyun naahi layi?" Questioned Sujata.

Swara explained to her how she was here for an intercollegiate competition for the last few days and at the same time Sanskar had some very important meetings, hence he couldn't come with her. So she came alone.

"Chal tu thora aram kar. Mere tari khana yahi beju. Thare ko kitni pareshani huvi aaj." With that Sujata left Swara to rest.

A few hours later just like she promised a maid had arrived with Swara's dinner. After completing her wonderful meal she didn't know what to do with the empty dishes, so she took the food tray and tried to find where the kitchen was. Surprisingly no one was around in the hallway at the bottom of the stair which looked like a sitting area but she could hear some faint voices coming from a short distance. Since it was dinner time the family must have been in the dining room having their dinner thought Swara. She felt odd if she had disputed the family event so instead she peeked into a room a little far from what she made out to be the dining room. Lucky for her it was the kitchen.

As she walked into the kitchen she bumped into a young man around the same age as her husband.

"Sorry" Swara apologized for bumping into him.

The man just stood there not even blinking an eye or even getting upset at her for bumping into him.

"Hey, hello. Are you okay?" She asked him which jolted him out of his reverie.

"Swara?" He questioned her.

She acknowledged him that she was indeed Swara. Looks like every member of the household knew who she was.

"Swara, it was nice meeting you. I am Lakshya, Sanskar's youngest cousin and DurgaPrasad's youngest son"

Swara simply smile and then told him to let her mother in law know that she has finished her meal and returned the dishes to the kitchen. With that she thankyou for passing her message and she headed back to her room.

It didn't take her too long to drift off to sleep that night. But some time during the night she felt an odd sensation of something hovering over her. She felt something caress her cheeks. She moaned Sanskar's name and then there was nothing. She was back in her restful sleep.

The next morning Swara was woken up with a light tap on her door. She quickly got up from the bed and quickly looked at the alarm clock at the night table next to the bed to confirm that it was still quite early. She didn't want anyone her to judge her for waking up late. She was glad it was only 7 am.

When she opened the bedroom door she was quite surprised to see Sanskar waiting there with asmall carry-on suitcase and his best friend in the whole world, his laptop bag. "Sanskar aap itni savhere, savhere?"

"Humm, here I thought you would be happy to see me first thing in the morning. I rushed to take the first flight here and you are not even glad that you don't have to face my family alone like yesterday." He smirked as he watched her grab his suitcase and place it on the bench at the edge of the bed.

"Sanskar, yeh kya hai" she said pointing to the 'SIN' luggage tag on his case. It was a Singapore airport tag, instead of a Mumbai airport. "Aap Singapore se aayeh hai?"

Sanskar stood there speechless since his lie of being in Singapore was caught. Swara was clearly upset him for going to Singapore for for his meeting ever since he had received death threats and forbidden him to go last week, but with Swara here he had taken this opportunity to go for his meeting. "Look Swara I am here in front of you without a scratch"

"Aap humse baat nahi kijiyeh!!" She fumed. At the same moment Sujata walked in and said "Eh chhori subha, subha tu mare chhore ko kyun daat rahi hai"

"Mom I deserve it" he said trying to justify why Swara was upset "Here you go freshen up" passing the towel from Sujata to Swara.

Swara grabbed the towel and fummed off to the washroom not turning to look at Sanskar or his mother. Leaving the mother and son duo to reunite.
