In Big Boss, the eliminated contestant is not allowed to work on other shows till BB ends.
Just wondering, even in Jhalak Dikh la ja, the contestants once eliminated would have to sit at home and wait till the show ends. Or they are free birds and can work any where else.

i think they are free birds otherwise how can radhika and simar girl started working in other shows...
some JDJ contestants always have two shows running parallel so this clause is not applicable for JDJ

yes, right makes sense.

Also the wildcard are totally different contestants, not from the eliminated lot. So yes, the eliminated should be free to work anywhere else.

Hmm... but I am not sure how true that is. Simar and Radhica were working on the same channel, so that is kind of why they did not have a problem.

All of that depends on the terms negotiated in hitter contract. I am sure that is in thier contract to not quit Jhalak at thier own will. They either have to get injured or be eliminated from Jhalak in order to work there.

Now to take new projects. This would simply not make sense for the contestants who have been eliminated to stay at home. The contestants would not really have a problem doing that, but the channel will have to pay them significantly more to convince them to tkae part in such an endeavour.

I know.. just imagine if the show were to get an extension..that would be so unfair to the contestants who were eliminated initially, right...

I dont think the bb thing is true because if a contestant gets eliminated in the first week then he wont have a job for 3 months!!
