Pratima Kannan: People who meet me for the first time are scared to talk to me!
Known for playing out and out negative characters, Pratima Kannan is enjoying her positive act on television in 'Ishq Ka Rang Safed'.
She says, "My rough voice, unusual personality and the fact that I have played so many negative roles ensure that more such roles keep coming my way. But now, it's a good balance."
In real life too, Pratima is feared by many around her. "I am a bit aloof and those who meet me for the first time are scared to talk to me, but once they get to know me, they realise I am quite the opposite. This reaction did help me when I was new to the industry when I wanted to keep away from people I didn't know, but not anymore," she laughs.
Meanwhile, she is all set to play a tantrik who will scare ghosts in Zindagi Abhi Baaki Hai Mere Ghost. "I am enjoying wearing those long orange robes and the interesting makeup for my role," she says.
