Kabir asks Richa to involve Ananya in solving some high profile cases as her experience is more. Shreya interrupts and tells them that she needs one of them to interview RJ for his brand building which will happen in KKN itself. She asks Ananya to do this interview. Kabir is stunned. Ananya agrees and tells her that she would but Kabir firmly tells that Ananya would not do this but Richa would. Shreya gets furious and leaves.
Shreya is fuming in her cabin that he insulted her. Kabir comes just then that it wasn't an insult but a lesson that he had to teach her. He tells her that he is Kabir Sharma, the journalist and editor in chief who has stopped so many people and off late he has forgotten that she is a woman much less a human so he is capable of doing anything to stop her! Shreya goes to Khalid and asks him to lodge a complaint against Kabir. Khalid coolly replies that there is something called Kabir clause and he hasn't done anything wrong as he did not say the interview shouldn't be aired.
Shreya snidely tells him not to play against her. Khalid tells her not to play with the channel or with KaYa as whatever she does, they will come together as theirs is true loveš He adds that he has been tolerating her all this while because he thought she would do something good for the channel but his patience is wearing thin. Shreya grimaces and tells him that come what may Kabir will be her's whether it hurts the channel or not. Khalid is shocked.
Kabir comes to his cabin and sees Ananya waiting there. She tells him that she wishes to take the interview today and she knows that he is stopping her to save his 'old friend'. Kabir tells her that he is a very dangerous person. She stops him and tells that he no longer has the right to stop her and she doesn't respect him anymore. She adds that her goal is to find the truth and even if she dies, she will no longer feel guilty in front of her dad who did everything to find out the truth and to absolve his name. She accuses him again of supporting RJ and leaves.
Kabir finishes by saying that one should play the game in such a way that even if he loses, that loss is recognized and he can hold his head high.
