Why do I get the feeling that the folks associated with Reporter had a contract for 100 episodes, and since then, they got a whole new team on board...
Everything has changed since we crossed the 100th episode mark.
The Ananya we knew for the last 5+ months has suddenly changed to talk and behave differently.
The Anita Kashyap we knew for the last 5+ months has undergone a transformation from bad, worse, worst...
The subtle ways in which the actions and emotions were handled has changed.
Earlier we used to get hints by reading between the lines, and we could so relate to them. Now, everything is spelled out and still nothing is relate-able.
The characters and tracks were close to reality. We admired the show for being realistic. That realism got lost somewhere along the way, to be replaced with u-knows-what.
Forgot to add this ealier, so editing to include this: Earlier each track used to be for max 10 episodes. Even the pre-confession MU track was for 10 episodes. But now, post 100-epi MU track is like never-ending - with no hope in sight...
The only thing that remains the same --
In their quest to be different, where this won't be a typical story of two women fighting over one man, they are showing the leading lady being anti-her hero. The abuses she is hurling at him, even the worst villain or vamp would never say to a hero..
