Tamasha is a love story.but Tamasha means drama or Nautanki.
At the climax Imtiaz would show that Ranbir is gay and Deepika is lesbian.That would be so shocking that some may get heart attack.Thats why tagline "The same story?" because it is not same.All the love story between them was a drama/Tamasha.
Finally they justified the title.
