Maybe she wanted to take time off from very deep type of cinema and wanted to focus on her personal life. Most people forget, stars also have a personal life and they need time to build relationships too. Especially something like marriage requires some time and adjustment. Besides, Ram Leela was not something great either and she still has plenty of time to experiment. Look at Tabu, Rani and Vidya Balan, they are still experimenting with their roles. Loyalty to your family is no bad but there is something called loyalty to your craft too!! Would she have taken such "family" liberties in her career if she was not a star kid? It's totally okay to say it is her choice but don't use that an excuse for her her lack of interest in her job. She could've easily done good short roles too while balancing her family commitments! Everyone balances family life with their jobs, she could've worked harder. Getting married is no excuse for doing crap films!!

OT- Allthough Ram Leela was a crap film I don't think Bebo would've been able to bring out the effortless bold & beautiful aura which Deepika brought! I can't see her loosing her inhibitions like Deepika did
