Laksh and Sanskar are very much different from each other as individuals. So,we have to look at both of them from different POVs and well as the family's partiality towards Laksh.

Laksh is the youngest son of the family. The youngest child is usually sheltered and pampered. He never knew what hardships were.He was always used to getting what he wants. He is childish and immature.Swara was someone he fancied.Maybe it was because of the fact that she was free spirited and different. It was more of an infatuation for him.He liked things to go as per his wishes and when they did not,he became bitter. He claims to love Swara but could not give her a chance to explain herself properly. He made a hasty decision to marry Ragini but could not see Swara moving on with Sanskar and kept on insulting her. There is this saying.'If the grapes are not mine then they are sour.'That is the case with Laksh. And somewhere deep inside he knows that Sanskar is more capable and better as an individual than him. Therefore he always tries to show him and Swara down and can go to the extent of lying.
Sanskar is more matured and sensible as compared to Laksh. His actions against his family were wrong but he was misguided by his pre-conceived notion that Laksh had betrayed him and DP had murdered Kavita. He had lost the woman he loved. His thinking ability was clouded by his rage. But he could distinguish between right and wrong once he started thinking clearly. When Swara showed him the mirror,he kept his anger aside and discovered that his actions were wrong. He even had the courage to admit his mistakes and step back.He stood up with Swara because he knew that she is right. That shows what a strong human being he is.
As far as the family is concerned, yes,I do feel that they were and are partial towards Laksh. When Sanskar fell in love, they disowned him but they decided to adjust with Laksh.DP and AP do not stop Laksh from badmouthing Sanskar and Swara even though Sanskar is elder to Laksh.AP claims to love Sanskar like her own son but does not give him and Swara a chance to explain their point of view.In the Ragz accusing Sanskar issue, they will support Ragini.Well,if he had really done something wrong and they supported their bahu then it would have been good. But without knowing the entire truth, they assumed that Sanskar had tried to molest Ragini.Seriously, how much do they know their own child??Don't they know Sanskar the best? They are his family afterall.
And finally I want to say something about RP.Yes,that man is Sanskar's biological father but he does not have the guts to stand up for his own son.Wow!!! What a father he is!!👏He keeps mum when his son is insulted without any fault of his.Is RP that weak??
well said..
It is high time for RP to come out of the shadow of his brother, and to stand up for his son..
