I haven't gotten around to watching the initial episodes as of yet, only seen the ones after Kunj's entry. Regardless, being clouded with the knowledge that Yuvi has stated he doesn't love Twinkle, I doubt I will be watching their scenes with full sincerity. It will be me constantly doubting his actions and real motives.
I don't doubt Twinkle's affections for him. They are undoubtedly real, but they are childish. The very first scene that I had watched was when Twinkle was complaining to her friend about breaking-up with Yuvi and Chiki had no visceral reaction to it as this was a normal thing for them. The constant breaking up and reconciliation has created a false sense of security for Twinkle. She will do something wrong, Yuvi will get mad, she will make-up for it and they're back in their lovey-dovey phase. But we know that Yuvi does not truly love her and will eventually leave her at a point that will cripple her emotionally, mentally and romantically.
If this relationship was built upon mutual love and respect, then I would have had no problem in the actions Twinkle is taking right now. But their relationship is not one of mutual love nor respect.
I am not faulting her in loving someone. She has the full freedom to do that. What I am faulting her in is not standing up for her self-respect and constantly allowing herself to be abused.
Btw, have I met you before? Your username sounds so familiar. 🤔😆
