This is what is wrong with our culture. We always get to see a weak-headed character who happens to be a female and ready to dishonour her family for her love, but then we get to see a strong-headed male lead who will do anything for his family. Here we have Twinkle who only sees her loves pain, her 'love' who threatens to chop her finger off ?!? What was that? And then after all that she DEFENDS Yuvi's actions to Kunj and ON TOP of that shows KUNJ ATTITUDE...for literally nothing!
These narrow-minded cringe worthy female leads in these soap operas are OTT and need to stop being written LIKE DAMN 😆

See, this is the major problem that I have with Twinkle and am not buying her notion of "true love". A love that dishonors, disrespects not just you, but people that you care about, is not love at all. I am getting fed up on Twinkle constantly defending Yuvi and his abusive ways and instead insulting Kunj who is in the right. Raised by an abusive father, Kunj recognizes Yuvi to be doing the same with Twinkle and does not abide by it. But there is so little he can do when he does not even have the authority to call himself Twinkle's friend.

I understand Kunj and Yuvi are deliberately being set up as polar opposites to make the audience understand who is clearly the correct choice for Twinkle. But there is a limit to this set-up. There are some things that I can allow Twinkle to slide, but when it comes to blatant physical abuse? No. That's when she needs to take a firm stand and tell Yuvi once and after all that she won't tolerate this type of nonsense from him. If he truly loves her, then he needs to learn how to respect her first.

Just wondering what will make Twinkle have some self-respect in front of Yuvi...yesterday, Yuvi was beyond limits ( saying that he will chop off her fingers). She seems sleepwalking in her own world...doesn't even possess an ounce of intelligence to analyse real world.

actually i think
she has a very superficial idea of love
she did not get true love from yuvi
so she does not know what it is

Excellent points and I agree that Twinkle is at the age where the thrill of a secret love with a boyfriend who is wild, reckless and spontaneous seems right and exciting. But the consequences of the family enmity escape her. She hasn't moved beyond the 'being in love' phase thats guided by movies.

Kunj while in love with another cannot see her being abused and tries to indulge her childlike personality while trying to make her understand the consequence of putting up with yuvi's rage.
Hopefully he gets thru to her before its too late.

You are right about the polar opposite personalities being defined so emphatically... I hope that after getting all of us to root for Kunj they don't turn the table on us and have another scenario.

i agree, they should show this soon that twinkle thinks about it and talks to yuvi about it. No way in hell any girl will allow this if she can stop it. How long till kunj also gives up on her. sadly such girls do exist in this society who have been brainwashed enough into submitting to others whims. hopefully twinkle learns her lesson soon
