Dashrath tripathi (DT) is viplav's grandfather...he is the biggest priest and noble in eyes of everyone but a evil inside , greedy and lusty...he treats his wife like some crap as she gave birth to physically sort of abnormal son shambhu..viplav's mother kanak too never leaves a chance to humiliate shambhu, her sasu ma, and her daughter shalu(obesity suffering)...viplav is close to his dadi...one day after partying he opened his eyes on boat to see dhani at dusk...his friends and he started betting on her age and he reached to her to ask her age to win the bet..she bickers him off as he was smelling drunk...his ego was hurt..more bikcerings followed on and finally viplav ended up adding alcohol to dhaani's pot instead of water and she take it to temple to shower it on statue..priest stopped her at right moment and she was humiliated..crowd went far to kill her but police took her away..viplav when gets to know come and releases her...but she hit on his ego again..the angry crowd moved to her ashram to kill her and to save ashram dhani came out to face the crowd...viplav unaware of her being dhani, went to save her thinking her a random girl...he became a shield on her when she was being hit with stones etc...then he realised it her...later on when he told his dadi of it, she asked him to apologise to dhani...he tried but failed as she ran away...D gets to know of all this and is upset as he is always in hangover of his power and feels even if vipu do wrong he need not to apologise...DT send vipu to delhi to attack widows...he send the legal notice to ashram widows to leave their ashram (it was donated to them) and made the owner took the blame..widows searched for lawyer and unknowingly got vipu hired..viplav too unaware came to help them...now he is helping them to get back their ashram and things are sorting out between dhani and him...he is back this time with his tahhed gf tania..
