Disappointment

First accusation :- Ananya's behaviour y'day.

Didnt we know right from beginning that we are witnessing fallible characters who are as human as us and who also commit mistakes like us? Ananya is shown as a girl whose heart is of gold, but at the end of the day, even she is human and when we cant remain logical 24X7, how can we expect from her to remain logical in such a complicated situation?

Second Accusation :- how can a man come and 'say' he has been murdered? If he has been murdered isn't he dead? How can he send a mail from his id after death saying, "I have been murdered?" His ghost?

This will surely be taken care of, in the upcoming episodes. As for Ananya, at present, she is not in a condition to think of all these things. All of a sudden, one fine morning, she gets the biggest jolt of her life, in the form of an email from her father's email id after a gap of 8 years, whose death has affected her and her family a lot, and then she gets the second jolt much bigger than the earlier one that her father was murdered in front of Kabir, whom she idealised and adored for his honesty and truthfulness. At present, the thought of her father being murdered and moreover, being cheated by someone whom she not only loved dearly but also idealised are killing her. Moreover, Ananya always preferred being Ananya, the girl rather than Ananya, the journalist. Even in cases like Mahi, Ananya didnt act like a true journalist then, in such situation, how can Ananya, the journalist will take over? We can only complain about this, at the end, if it is not taken care of. At present, its too early to comment on that. actually, we are also behaving like Ananya, reacting impulsively, without waiting for the upcoming episodes. We still have 3 and half weeks, if it persists, then only we can complain, right?

Third accusation : Ananya not giving Kabir a chance to give his POV.

Aren't we asking too much from the poor girl? When we know that she is emotional, how can she be rational enough to listen to Kabir's reasoning. Moreover, I still give her the credit that she didnt believe the mail, she asked Kabir and she told him specifically that whatever he tells her, she would believe him and not anything else. But imagine, the girl's situation when Kabir accepted everything... If I keep myself in her situation, I am sure, I would have reacted in the same manner, as Ananya did. Betrayal of trust is the most terrible thing in this world.

Fourth accusation :- Why Ronnie every time ? The slap

Specially in a passionate relationship like that of Ananya and Kabir, yes they do need SOMEONE to be there. See, this is all a myth, that your partner/ spouse has to be your best friend. I agree with CVs completely when they made it a point to categorise specifically between a spouse and a best friend. And Sharda, if Ronnie and Ananya had been hooked together, they couldnt have remained best of friends, mark my words!! I am saying this from my own experience.. I committed the biggest blunder of my life by treating my so called ex-husband as my best friend and the result shattered me completely.

Moreover, if you guys remember, when Ananya had given the list of likes and dislikes to Kabir and later realised her mistake, at that time when she told Kabir "I know, aapko meri aadat nahi hui" at that time, Kabir had said "Ananya, humne ek doosre ke saath time bitaya hi kitna hai, jaise jaise samay guzrega, hum ek doosre ko samajhne bhi lagenge, jaanne bhi lagenge" so give them some time, I am sure they will not require Ronnie or anyone else, for that matter, to bridge their differences.

And about the slap, I am really surprised guys... Right from beginning, Ananya is shown as a girl who doesnt mind being physical with goons... remember her throwing tea on goons, or her screaming in front of Baaghi and later, the terrorists. She is not a girl, who will try to sit and debate. She believes in quick actions. Moreover, if she has the right to kiss Kabir, she also has the right to slap him. Aren't we sounding like typical male chauvinists?

Fifth accusation :- Ananya neglecting that Kabir risked his life to save her from human bomb, saved her in Bhaagi case, was concerned for her in arms dealer case? What about her promise , "main yeh haath chodne ke liye nahi pakda

I told you earlier also Ananya is human, at the end of the day. All these logics she could only think, when she will be cool. so please give her time. And about her not leaving hand of Kabir or her giving ultimatum to her mother, at that time, she had ultimate trust in Kabir. Now she has lost it, completely. Please give her sometime, let that trust get restored

Sixth accusation :- Decision of returning the ring - impractical, Ananya's love for her father cannot be greater than Kabir's love for her. Disappointing route!

I am sorry friends but its easier to say than to act. Just because, we love Kabir hence we should expect Ananya to be a demi-Goddess, is a sheer stupidity. Just like Kabir has flaws, Ananya has flaws too. Moreover, its not about the flaws also, its about priorities. Ananya is been shown entirely dedicated to her family right from day one. She chose her profession because of her father.. When her mother asked her to choose between Kabir and her, she preferred to go for the option of sacrificing her entire life by remaining single, though, being independent, she could have easily gone and convinced Kabir to marry her. Even, when she got a dreamy proposal from Kabir asking her to marry him, in front of the whole office, which is actually the dream of any girl, she didnt jump to it, rather reminded him about her mother, its only when Mrs. Kashyap personally came and asked her to wear the ring, she accepted the proposal. So now when she is preferring her father over Kabir, why are we complaining?

Moreover I entirely agree to the post of Geetha that she made last night, that the most dramatic thing was picturised in the most undramatic manner. This track is beautifully directed. The slap was very quick, one blind and it was missed. At the same time, we didnt find heroine clinging to hero's T Shirt, crying, shouting "tum mere sath aise kaise kar sakte ho bla bla bla bla bla" and hero crying miserably, trying to convince heroine "main majboor tha, bla bla bla" the entire track was done very realistically.

Please guys, dont jump to conclusions. We have to accept the fact that Reporters is indeed different from other serials. Just wait for some more episodes, things will definitely sort out in the most logical way, as they have been till now.

But in spite of that, if you feel that it has disappointed you, I respect your opinion!!!
