Umm till now the phrase has only been used for SK right from the start and yesterday too I can use it as a reference for SK as Kabir was thinking about him..If I really have to think about that phrase in Kabir's context then I feel that though there is a justified reason behind his 'lying/hiding' but his conscience is not allowing him to think in respect to that because of Ananya's blind trust on him (making him feel responsible for actually misleading her in a way)..trust is the key ingredient of every relationship...and its not about the consequence of lying/hiding that is making him feel so but that feeling is based on 'what actually lying/hiding means to him (and specially to the one he loves the most and that too regarding her father)' ..I am seeing the statement in an ethical perspective wrt to Kabir as well!
