I think Sanskaar's biggest issue (more than his feelings for Swara and exposing Ragini) is his guilt. It is eating away at him and destroying him. Plus, the more Swara shows her kindness and faith in him, the worse he feels. The way he is arguing Swara's case in a drunken state and trying to prove her innocence by blaming himself first before mentioning Ragini is proof of that.

It's not surprising that he felt devastated and literally wanted to 'burn the house down'! The fire is a mirror of what's burning inside him: his frustration at Ragini's actions, his possessiveness and protectiveness towards Swara, his budding feelings for Swara, his memories of Kavita and the injustice she faced, and his guilt for putting Swara in this position and starting Ragini on this path.

I think he feels as helpless now as he did when he lost Kavita, and this second time round it's too much for him to take.

Poor guy! I know he kind of deserves this pain after what he did but I also feel sorry because I know he's genuinely trying to solve everything.
