4th Episode Copied from Holmes' Hound of Baskervilles

So today's episode reminded me of Hound of Baskervilles. Because everything from the ghost dog to the missing boot, it was such an obvious copy. Ruddy returning from abroad because his uncle died. His suspicion that it was something other than a ghost. Then there's the whole 6-foot dog.

I'm sorry but I'm not pleased. This is the second episode in 4 that they've copied directly. Yes they changed it slightly, but not a lot. Though I do like that they changed the criminal from the Stapletons to someone else.

I did like the characters as usual. But still copying a story is just not done.

True. I liked how they changed the culprit though and made it plausible. But yes, a Hound of the Baskervilles inspiration.

Thank you for posting this. I was completely miffed because of the same reason.

It's fine that the lead character resembles Holmes, but there's no need to copy Conan Doyle's novellas and short stories too.

I liked the twist about the gas and the asli criminal though- they changed it from Stapleton.

All in all I am very thankful for this show, because weekends are replete with reality shows on all channels, which is not my cup of tea, and we have something different to watch.

We seem to meet in all those forums that very few people visit. 😆
