Ragini's next move

I just read the description for the upcoming mahaepiside and I'm just utterly disgusted. Okay, so there's a limit. I get Ragini is becoming more and more villain, whatever, I don't care. At this point I skip most of her scenes, but her next move is going too far.

I absolutely HATE when the fake rape storyline is used on shows. It's not a joke. And if you're going to bring that topic up and you're going to make it a plot point then you better follow through on actually dealing with the issue properly. I don't care what she's trying to accomplish, using this as her weapon is disgusting. As a woman, knowing of women who have actually gone through this horrific experience it is disgusting that shows make it into a joke. And like I said, fine, you want to bring the topic up, okay, but then actually deal with the ramifications of makings such a false claim.

There are so many women that don't speak up when something like this happens to them because they're afraid of the ramifications, they're afraid no one will believe them, they'll be blamed (it's already disgusting enough that victims of such crimes actually need to defend their own actions). Stories like reinforce the mysoginistic worldview we should be challenging. Look at her, crazy woman, wants revenge so she concocts a story about the guy forcing himself on her, hahaha. NO!

I don't care that this is a show, this was an unnecessary move and a disgusting one at that.

Absolutely agree with your views. This has been used in many shows and I believe this is too much unnecessary deviation from the actual storyline.
