Review week 10

It was another good week for me 👍🏼 the best parts for me this episode was sanaya and faisals performance and of course the dance marathon. 😃 again, this week I felt the scoring was really bad in many stages by the judges 🥱

Shamita: I liked her performance this week honestly 😛 it was quite an interesting concept and nice steps. Very entertaining 😊 in a face off, I personally felt it was definitely slightly better than Scarlett. The score was quite justified; just the 10 from malaika felt a little OTT to me 😕 36 would've been better.

Mohit: what a comeback 👏 he was fully in form this week. The energy level was superb. It was nice to see his performing with bhawna for once 😳 the have good chemistry. It's amazing how Mohit still managed to take off the act with a new choreographer at the last minute. BUT if I compare this performance to a few other performances this week, it didn't quite deserve the immunity ball.

Neha: she was my favourite wild card entrant dance wise. 👏 she's so good with classical. I thought rajit won't do justice to her by it was better than what I expected. I feel she will be the only wild card in the finals. Score was fine for this act.

Anita: I expected more from her tbh. Especially, when her choreographer is sanam I actually disagree with shahid; I get she was quite nervous and so wasn't dancing openly. Also, the prop wasn't quite appealing. 😕 I hope her the best for next week. I hope she don't go so soon. Her score was also justified.

Faisal: now, this was my favourite performance this week 👏 this guy honestly deserves a salute. What a usage of that prop. 👍🏼 it's such a simple prop but the way they used it really stood out. My favourite moment was the end when they actually wrote 'maa' with the cloth. 😃 Vivek does a lot of recognition. 👏 I also agree with Lauren and I am happy she is pointing all this out 😊 but as a whole performance, I loved it! Compared to all other performances, this was worthy of the immunity ball.

Sanaya: hers was my second favourite after Faisal 👏 the opening of her act itself completely surprised me 😳 I could possibly never imagine her in this avatar and she carried it out so perfectly with so much confidence 😳 there were a lot of wow moment! I never thought I would like Jai so much with his choreography. 😃 this performance also deserved a 40. Malaika should've at least pointed out what she found lacking to not give 10 😕

Roopal: being somewhat trained, I expected more. I also feel she should've got someone else as a choreographer and not rishi. Rishi also didn't do justice to radhika it started of well but by the end of it I was bored 🥱 the energy level also went down and the steps were quite simple for me too. Score was quite justified.

Dance marathon:

this was my favourite part of the episode today 😃 it was so entertaining. I actually completely agree with the order the contestants were taken out at. Also, I felt shamita was deserving to win the marathon. Her energy level was consistent throughout the dance and there were so many wow moments with their choice of lifts and steps. 😛 it was fun watching them. Faisal and vaishnavi were a close second.

Lovely post as always . I am yet to see all the Sunday performances ( seen only Faisal and sanaya's which were brilliant ...) will get back to this tomorrow 😊

Lovely post as usual! I am posting my review here for the first time 😛 The review of Saturday's performances was written on Saturday night before Faisal's and Sanaya's performances on Sunday, which I personally feel were the best two performances of the weekend, and on par with each other.

Saturday -

Scarlett and Shamita were more or less at par today ... I actually liked Shamita more, except for her bizarre costume, she looked like a cross between a turkey and a chicken.😆She was graceful, the song was lovely ... the act was good.

Scarlett's act was okay, the song choice was not good, they needed a peppier beat ... and her energy level was low ... I felt she knew she was going ... or maybe just being bottom and in face off so many times had depressed her morale. Again she cried about not being popular ... hell, she lasted ten weeks on jhalak, and more than popular contestants like VD and Radhika ... she should be happier about that. Her farewell was sweet ... her emotional outburst to Sanaya ... and Sanaya's equally emotional tears were so touching to watch ... I am very surprised Colors actually aired that part!

Mohit's act was very good ... I won't call it dance, it had less dance and more performance ... and that's what an actor needs. For the first time I saw that he is a really good actor ... the last part was very, very touching.

His tears annoy me now though ... either they are laying them on too thick to show he's such a softie ... or he really is such a baby!!! He's a regular waterworks!!!

Anita was decent ... she was nervous, and I think she attempted too much for a first performance.

Neha was good ... not surprising since she is a trained dancer ... I thought she would be better ... the synch with her choreo was not good, she lost out there. I like classical dance so I liked her performance.

Sunday

I haven't seen Roopal's act or the marathon ... this is just review of Sanaya and Faisal.

San is rocking Jhalak, and how!!! This again was so far out of her comfort zone ... this girl just doesn't realise how sexy she is ... she was smoking hot and sensuous ... but even more, the act itself was fantastic!

When it started off, I went😲wow, that's full blown sexy😳... then the dance moves started, and I switched to just watching the lifts ... the first one itself when she gets on Jai's back was so smooth, I don't know how she reached there, and I watched it three times!!! They went on, and the sensuality was in the background, the moves and lifts were in the foreground, the splits, the twists ... and her expressions ... in the middle I registered her expressions very strongly, and thought to myself, ah the actress is very much here ... then went back to admiring the lifts and moves ... and the ending in the shower was again very smooth with great lifts ... finally they went back to pure sensual to round it off and end with a bang.

In short, this was a complete performance ... sensuous, lifts and dance moves and expressions ... all three were mind blowing. Again reminded me why Sanaya is the best actress we have on telly today.

Apart from that ... I loved Faisal's act too, and his AV ... another one who hasn't played the sympathy card ... his mom's AV was sweet and positive, no rona dhona ... and I loved his act for much the same reasons as Sanaya's - great dance moves, great use of the prop ... there was one move where he caught Vaishnavi as she bent backwards just with the chunari ... and very good expressions. Faisal is not as expressive as Sanaya, he usually does pure dance and less acts ... but this one was a full performance and his expressions were good too.

Mohit's performance faded into the background after these two acts ... he had great expressions, but dance was less in his act and I'm not sure what his prop was. Don't think he deserved the immunity ball ... not after watching Sanaya and Faisal.

nice to read your review too 😊 Shamita and Scarlett were some heat really competitive with each other but I just liked Shamita that inchy bit more. I am so annoyed with Scarlett's speech about not being popular completely agree with your review on all.

So far I only saw Sanaya and Faisal performances as both acts were on the link I downloaded and I loved them both.❤️ I respect Lauren criticism as she pointed out the flaw in the act. I wish Malaika would have pointed out the flaw in Sanaya act too as she give such good complements but still a 9? I thought her comment was the best from the rest too. Faisal & Sanaya both deserves to be the top 2. I liked Faisal AV with his mom he is one contestants who haven't played the sympathy card till today. At such a young age he's a talented boy.

I'm normally not that big of a fan of sensual performances as they have less dancing and more focus on hotness so I was bit nervous for this one even though I'm a fan of Sanz but I was happy they keep it at a good balance with dance and sensuality both.


I also liked Mohit I caught parts of his act then my live link on Saturday was being a complete bitch and keep on freezing on me and I turned it off and couldn't caught the rest of the acts o the night.
