Gayatri's reply to BRM was class. It was a beauty also. Sethji told daughters are like sugar balls. Wherever they go they mingle along. BRM says a DIL of royal family cannot just mingle to Gayatri. Gayatri says DIL is like Salt. Food is not tasty without salt and once added to food it cannot be separated either.
We all like sugar. The taste of sugar is very pleasant and people always love to eat sugar. I mean a daughter is like sugar. She is pleasant, loved in the family, princess of the family. She is the sound in the family, her laughter lights up the family. In short a daughter represents everything that is pleasant and happy and everyone in the family love to have her around. Just like sugar.
What about salt. Well you need it. But will you take a teaspoon of salt and gulp it, the way you do with sugar. Answer is no. But you tolerate salt because you cant live without it. And if that is put in food it cannot be separated also. That's the case with DIL also. Yes son has to marry, but the new woman is not that accepted in the family. It's the need that makes people bring DIL. But just like salt that cannot be separated once it is added to food, the DIL has to ensure she becomes part of the family in such a way that she cannot be separated from it. đđđ
