When Meera brought a small lighted diya near her Gaura was scared and recalled her brothers death and that led to so much drama. Even initially Gaura was almost choked when Meera burnt the Dupatta. But in 8th September episode, Gaura lights a big diya and gives Aarti to Goddess. Was she not scared of fire now.

Gaura also might be pretending that she is afraid of fire.

I think she is shown that she is scared of fire because of her brother where she tried to save him in the fire..but you are right, she had such a big lamp when she did aarti to the Goddess... she was not scared at that time...😆
