The whole scenario of encouraging the "ugly duckling/ not popular girl" to chase after the "popular guy" while bolstering her with false platitudes and at the same time being certain that the girl cannot in any way "get with" the handsome dude is so reminiscent of some teenage sitcom drama.đ
Either that or he's channeling some mad scientist who loves throwing volatile ingredients together just so he can watch all the pretty colors the ensuing explosion is bound to produce.
Amaads gestures and dialogues were hilarious today. But he did have that hint of mockery in his voice when he spoke about Mahiras supernatural beliefs and boy is that going to bite him in the ass one day considering what his mommy does.
All said and done I think he's trying to have fun at Azads expense, knowing that his introverted brother is going to be irked beyond belief with Mahira dogging his footsteps. At least he hasn't gone to the extent to give her false romantic hopes when it comes to Azaad. He's simply being a brat, bent upon annoying his brother and is not seeing Mahira as a person who can get hurt.
I really liked Mahira today and also her replies in last Fridays episode:
1) When Azaad asked "Tum yahan kya kar rahi ho" , instead of silently slinking away Mahira was answering him back and at the same time she lowered her voice to minimize the drama while flashing a little smile to KB.
2) "Main bina wajhe kisi ki baat nahi sunti."
Today I loved that while Azaad was off skipping away in la la la land, she made that little head bobbing gesture of "What are you looking at?"
I wonder what mischief our unwitting matchmaker is going to unleash with his plotting.
Side Note:
1)When she mentioned that she hadn't noticed Azads eye color all I could think was, Liar!
2)What is up with the Polaroid camera? She has a phone doesn't she?
3)For a second there I thought Azad would be sprinting around sans kurta.đ
