This is why journos shouldnt chase Kat for an interview if she isnt in the mood for it.

She wont talk much. I can totally understand her not sharing too much about her earlier years. Her father and mom were presumably having a difficult time...which led to their separation...i think anyone who has been through their parents in the stages leading upto a divorce will understand..how horrible a period that is, and Kat must hv been really young, a father who would leave eight lil kids and sever all ties to them...i can only imagine. Money would ve been tight. Not good memories.

She turned it all around tho, but those hardships hv left her guarded.
