AR Oneshot - Mera Humsafar
HAPPY BDAY CHRISTI

We enter a small house. As we go in, we see a small hall where three cream colour sofas are placed with a coffee colour round table in the middle. On the table a cream colour beautiful small vase was placed. Behind the sofas, on the wall, there were photo frames, some big and some small. In a big photo frame, we see a man sitting on a leather couch and a lady standing behind him, her hands around his neck with her chin resting on his head.

Moving into a door which led to the kitchen, we see a lady sitting on a round table eating grapes and apples, while a man behind her is cooking.

"Bas na Shashank! Mujhse aur nahi khaya jaa raha!" The lady said whining as she caressed her big baby bump pointing as she was full. But her dear sweet husband wasn't ready to listen. He came towards her and stuffed a piece of apple in her mouth. "Lekin tumhe khana padega Padma! Kuch hi dinn main humari nanni si parri humare paas iss duniya mein aa jayegi!" Padma smiled listening to her husband. "Waise tumhari delivery date kya hai?" He asked walking back towards the stove, pouring milk into the saucepan as he was making tea. "Next Saturday ko hai" padma replied cutting another piece of apple for herself. Dropping the knife in the plate, she shut her eyes, trying to digest the pain forming in her abdomen.

Hearing the noise of the knife falling he rushed to her. "Kya hoa padma?" She clutched her stomach trying to sooth the pain as it was increasing. "I think I'm in labour!" She screamed in pain while he rushed to call the ambulance.

Reaching the hospital, padma was taken into the labour room while poor Shashank was praying for his child and wife to be better soon. His head shot up as he heard a cry and padma's scream. He saw a nurse coming out of the labour room with a baby rapped in a towel. He moved to see the baby all covered with blood. "Congratulations Mr Gupta, it's a girl! I'll go clean her up" the nurse said while Shashank kissed the baby's forehead.

2 WEEKS LATER

Padma was sitting in her room, with the little baby girl in her hands. She had just given her shower and now made her wear a white romper with a pink writing on it that said "daddy's girl". The baby girl started to cry "ale ale ale baby rote nahi hai! Maa abhi milk pilati hai! Riddhima baby!" Padma said placing her in her lap, making herself comfortable against the wall behind the bed, she started to feed her.

Her phone started to ring. Picking up the phone she saw an unknown number. "Hello? Padma gupta bol rahi hai?" A guy asked. "Jee lekin aap kon?" She asked confusingly. "Jee main Inspector Khurana bol raha hun!" The policer said making her heartbeat faster "Jee boliye". "Dhekiye aapke pati Shashank Gupta ki death hochuki hai! Unki car ekk truck se takra gayi aur usse bachne keliye unho ne rash driving ki jis ki waja se unki car hill se neeche gir gayi!" The inspector spoke to deaf ears. The phone dropped out of her hand and tears started to rush down her cheeks.

19 years later

A beautiful girl with dead straight long hair was sitting down on her bed. She was wearing blue trousers and a grey baggy shirt. Her hair were tied into a messy bun falling on her back. Scribbling on the paper she threw it towards the door when a girl with brown hair came.

"Kya hoa ridzi?" The girl of the same age came and sat next to her while Riddhima sobbed on her shoulder. "They want me to get married nikki!" She sobbed on nikki shoulder. "What! All these years they've kept u in boarding school and now they are calling u back home to get u married! Bullshit!" Nikki cursed Riddhima's parents. "Main bojh hu unn parr! Im a damn burden" she sobbed while nikki also let out two tears. "Nahi meri jaan ur not" nikki cupped her face.

After Shashank Gupta's death, Padma's cruel in laws had gotten her married to some small businessman , Rishab Khanna, and also send Riddhima with her. To them Riddhima was bad luck as right two weeks after her birth, Shashank had died. After Padma's marriage, Rishab used to beat Riddhima when she started to grow up. He always used Padma for his lust. When Riddhima was 5, Padma sent her away to boarding as the news of her being pregnant with Rishab's child came to her. After hearing this news, Rishab started to treat Padma well. Riddhima came to know about her brother being born as she was unaware of the fact that Rishab wasn't her biological father. She was very happy with the news. Now, her parents were calling her home as a proposal had came for her from a fine Well educated Rich family.

"Nahi nikki i have to go! After soo many years im going home!" She got up and took out her suitcase. "Pagal hogayi hai kya? U r just 19 and they are getting you married?" Nikki said in shock as Riddhima finished with her packing.

Their convo was disturbed when their Headmistress, Julie Andrews, came in dressed into a grey knee length skirt, and white shirt with grey blazer. She was wearing pearls in her neck.

"Dear, here are your train tickets back to Mumbai! And Nikita, Riddhima's mom also send tickets for you to attend her wedding!" She gave them the tickets and left. Riddhima silently cried on her shoulder while Nikki rubbed her back to sooth her. "Chalo atleast u'll be with me till my wedding!" Riddhima sighed. "Main aati hu?" Nikki said.

Nikki furiously walked into the headmistress's cabin. "Mom how can her parents do this to her?" Nikki asked Julie. "Nikita Andrews! Can you speak any louder?" Julie barked. Nikki was the daughter of the head mistress. Both wanted no one to know about their relation. "Meri jaan, main tumhari ticket karwayi so tum Riddhima ka khayal Rakh sako! Woh jo Rishta aaya hai woh Armaan Mallik ka hai!" Julie cupped Nikki's face. "What? Armaan Mallik? That famous brat?" Nikki scowled. "He is not a brat! Nikki control ur tongue! He is the son of the most famous businessman in Mumbai! I'm sure they'll keep Riddhima happy!! Now go and catch some sleep! Its past bed time and u both have to catch ur train tmr at 6!" Julie scolded Nikki.

Coming into her room, she saw the lights off, and saw riddhima sleeping on her bed. She smiled and switched off the light, closing the door. She went and sat down next to Riddhima. She caressed her hair and said "I still have to keep check on that Mallik boy!". She went to her bed and opened her laptop. She search Armaan Mallik and a series of results came up.

"Famous Bachelor caught on beach romancing his current girlfriend! Witnesses there say they had caught them Kissing and making out in the private." - Mumbai Times

"Armaan Mallik breaks up with his girlfriend due to his extra affairs! His girlfriend press conferenced against him stating he was cheating on her" - THE EXPRESS TRIBUNE

Nikki felt disgusted as she read about some of his affairs and saw some pictures of him making out with girls in short dresses, some half way naked. An article catched her sight and made her curious.

Nikki clicked the video as she knew somewhere this was related to Riddhima and she wanted to know how come the Malliks came to know about Guptas. As Shashank Gupta wasn't that big businessman. He was rich but not as rich as malliks and famous as them.

"So Armaan Mallik, the next owner of Mallik Industries, we've heard that you are planning to get married?" The reporter asked a 23 year old man well dressed in a grey shirt and formal pants. Cuts of his biceps were prominent out of his shirt. "Yes it's true! Im ready to get commited!"'Armaan said showing his dimpled cheeky grin. "So who is that special girl?" The reporter asked while Armaan took off his shades showing his killer grey eyes. "You will get to know soon!!" He said and the interview ended.

Muskaan closed the laptop and rested her chin on her knee. She kept thinking of his articles and glancing at Riddhima. Soon the sun shined through, and morning came. Riddhima and Nikki left for Mumbai.

MUMBAI

We zoom into a 3 story house, not small, not big either, normal for a joint family. As we go in we see a big hall, photo frames on the wall, beautiful decoration pieces. As we move up the stairs, we see 5 bedrooms. 1 of them is locked. We move in to a room, to see it all messed up. Cupboard open, some beautiful sarees on the bed, jewelry boxes open. A lady was sitting on bed, folding the sarees and putting them in cupboard neatly when a man in his 50s came.

"Padma! Karan Mallik ka phone aaya tha! Woh log aaj Riddhima ko dhekne aarahe hai! Kahan hai tumhare beti?" Rishab spoke anxiously. "Woh meri nahi aapko bhi beti hai!" Padma spoke while Rishab nodded rolling his eyes "right usse yeh baat pata nahi chalni chaiye ke woh meri beti nahi hai!".

"Kya baat pata nahi chalni chaiye papa?" Rishab froze as he heard Riddhima's voice. He turned around to see Riddhima standing with her bags along Nikki. Unfortunately, Riddhima had heard everything. Her eyes were moist and tears were dropping out of her eyes. "Ridh-" Padma tried to speak but was cut by Riddhima "no need mom! I know my importance in your life!". Riddhima was hurt as she hid the biggest truth of her life from her.

Rishab moved put without saying anything. "Malliks are coming to see you! Get ready I've placed a saree in the bathroom!" Padma quietly said moving out guiltily. Riddhima sank on the bed crying while nikki consoled her.

2 hours later

A girl around 24 came in the room. "You must be Anjali di?" Riddhima asked the girl who nodded. "You are Abhinav Chacha jaan's daughter right?" She ask Anjali who smiled and caressed her hair. "Padma Chachi sent me to help you with ur saree, i know u r not used to with sarees.

Anjali Khanna, was daughter of Rishab's smaller brother Abhinav Khanna. Unlike Rishab, Abhinav loved Riddhima as his own daughter, only he didn't have a say in her matters as other family members hated Riddhima and also Abhinav wasn't as Rich as Rishab. Anjali's mother had died when she was 7. Abhinav started to live with Rishab's family when his wife died and he had loss in his small business.

"Di isn't this blouse way too short?" Riddhima twisted her nose as she was standing in front on the mirror, with Anjali behind her tying the doris of her small blouse. Her waist was left bare as she was just in her petticoat and blouse. "No Riddhima! U r wearing first time na that's why" Anjali giggled while Riddhima passed a nervous smile.

Riddhima stared at herself, her eyes were red due to crying. She couldn't believe she was getting married. Today, only the Malliks were coming to see her but she knew if she didn't agree to this marriage, Rishab would beat her up as he did when she was small and Padma would also get disappointed of her.

"Nikki beta can you check if the mini cakes are ready" Padma said while preparing salad. Nikki nodded and opened the oven to see the cakes were ready. She took them out, and start to frost them with whipped frosting. "Aunty aap wakai main Riddhima ki shaadi Armaan Mallik se karna chahti hai? U know he had so many past affairs!" Nikki asked Padma who was now tongue tied. Rishab walked in and said "it is good for her, and Armaan is the right boy for her!". Nikki went and stood in front of him joining her hands together. "Uncle please! She is just 19".

"Ms Andrews it would be better if u don't interfere in our personal matters!" Rishab said making Nikki lose hope. Abhinav came in "Bhaiya, the Malliks are here!". Rishab smiled and said "hurry up lets go!". Both men walked out.

Upstairs, Riddhima was ready, sitting on the stool in front of the mirror lost while Anjali was making her hair. Riddhima's brother, Viven, 13, ran in her room and said "didi Armaan bhaiya aagaye!" While anjali giggled. "Armaan ko dhekna chahogi?" Anjali asked Riddhima who faintly smiled.

RIDDHIMA POV

I just couldn't utter a word. Since I came to know about Rishab papa not being my biological father, i feel like Earth beneath me vanished. Why is God being so cruel to me? In one day, so many things are happening to me, I learn Rishab Khanna is my step father, a boy is coming to see me, for sure I have to agree to this marriage or else papa will beat me to death!

Anjali draped the pallu around my body as I feel my body being covered. Honestly speaking I am very un comfortable as my blouse is really short and is only held by doris. My petticoat is tied on my low waist. Anjali di made me sit and started to make my hair when my step brother barged in.

"didi Armaan bhaiya aagaye" when he said that I felt sweat forming into my hands. My heart started to beat faster. Anjali di lightly nudged me and said "Armaan ko dhekna chahogi?". I didn't know what to do so i just smiled. She helped me get up and took me towards my room balcony. Sliding the glass door, she hid me behind the thin curtain. I saw a man and a women of my parents' age getting out of the car, well dressed.

The lady was wearing a emerald green saree with heavy silver stones on its border. She had a beige shall placed on her other shoulder. The man was dressed in a three pieced suit. Both looked elegant enough. After them I saw a couple getting out of the car with a 3 year old boy. The girl was pretty and looked 3 years older then me while u can double the age of the boy.

"There's Armaan" anjali di pointed at a boy few years older than me. He was getting of the car, dressed in a 3 piece black suit, shades covering his eyes, bluetooth in his ear and iPhone 6 gold in his hand. My breath stopped seeing him. He was indeed Handsome.

He looked around the house scanning, i bet. His eyes stopped at my balcony window to see Anjali bhabhi out, as I was hidden behind the thin curtain. He glanced his eyes towards the curtain, and smirked. Shit did he see me?

I moved away and went inside playing with my fingers. I was sitting down trying to catch my breath when my mom and Nikki came in. I knew it was time to meet them all. "Chalo Riddhi!" My mom said while Anjali di and Nikki held me and brought me towards the stairs, to see everybody's eyes at me

ARMAAN POV

I was in my room getting ready to go meet my bride-to-be. I knew Rishab Khanna won't refuse this proposal as it would affect his business. I can't get her image out of my mind. The last time I saw her in Pune in her boarding, I knew she was the one. I had went to Pune for a meeting with her head mistress when I saw her in the dance room as the head mistress Mrs Julie Andrews was showing me around. I had gotten out information about her through some girls who were drooling over me. I knew I had fallen head over heels for her.

True, I had many past flings and Affairs but this time I knew she was the one. The only one, the only capable girl to be my bride, my wife, the one who I can call as 'Mine'. I just hope she doesn't reject me.

My nephew, Arjun, 3 yrs old, barged into my room and hugged me by my leg. "Chachuu Aaj hum ache wali chachi ko dhekne jaa rahe hai?" He cutely asked me making me admire him. He was a true gem. "Haan Juni beta! Achi wali chachi!" I heard Muskaan Bhabhi say as she entered my room.

I was confused with the 'achi wali chachi' thing. "Bhabhi wats this Achi chachi?" I asked Muskaan bhabhi who laughed and picked up Juni. We all called him Juni as his pet name. "Ammy u know ur girlfriends na! Each one of them used to tell him she is his chachi as she is ur GF and he didn't like them so he used to call them 'gandi wali chachi!" I laughed out hearing Bhabhi and kissed Juni's cheeks.

"Chalo ammy chalo! Hume der hori hai!" I heard Rahul bhaiya say we went down.

Getting out the car, we stopped in front of a big house, not really a mansion like ours but it was beautiful. My eyes scanned the whole house and saw a girl cladded in blue saree. She was slim and tall but I guessed she was not married yet as she didn't have the Nuptial thread around her neck and vermilion in between her parted hair. I smiled ar her and she smiled back.

As everybody was getting out the car. My eyes were still on the balcony when I saw a figure standing behind the thin white curtain. I smirked knowing very well that it was Riddhima. I saw her peeking and looking at everybody in my family when her eyes stopped at me. She quickly went away. I chuckled and followed Mom Dad in taking my shades off, as Rishab uncle came outside along his brother, to receive us.

Going in, They made us sit in the hall. I glanced to see the whole Khanna family pictures there execpt Riddhima's. A girl around 19 came out and served us drinks while Padma aunty introduced her, "this is Nikki, Riddhima's friend". Nikki, twisted her nose seeing me, as if I was her biggest Rival. I saw Padma Aunty and Nikki going upstairs.

After a few minutes later, I saw the most beautiful girl on earth. She was dressed in a golden blouse and sea green saree. Her blouse was really short. Her saree plaits were near her lower navel, revealing her long waist. I could see how uncomfortable she was under my gaze.

ARMAAN POV END

Riddhima started to descend slowly while Anjali and Nikki held her from either sides. Armaan was just lost in the ethereal beauty. Armaan had seen girls almost naked, in bikinis, short dressed, etc., but seeing her he could easily say that she was much beautiful than them.

Riddhima went and took Ashirwaad from Karan and Ananya (armaan mom dad). They made her between them and Ananya caressed her hair. "Bohot hi sundar hai aapki beti bhaisaab" Ananya lovingly looked at Riddhima. All the time, the elders talked while Riddhima fidgeted with her hands and Armaan was lost in her.

"Chachi aap mujhe aapna ghar dhekayi gi na?" Arjun sweetly asked making her look up the first time. She smiled and nodded. "Jao beta Arjun ko ghar dhikao!" Padma said While Muskaan and Riddhima got up.

Riddhima started to show the house while Arjun held her hand making her smile. "Pata hai Riddhima, Arjun bohot eager tha yaha aane keliye" Muskaan said while riddhima smiled. "Woh armaan se baar baar pooch raha tha ke achi wali chachi ke ghar kab jayegi?" Muskaan giggled making Riddhima confuse. Muskaan understood why she was confused so she thought to clear "woh before Armaan had affairs and girlfriends na so he used to call them 'gandi wali chachi'." Muskaan said while Riddhima gulped.

RIDDHIMA POV

When she told me that he had girlfriends, my heart twisted in pain. After I saw him in the balcony, I had light hope that he'll love me to the core after marriage but how can I trust my life with happiness? Whenever I get happy something bad happens to me.

While Riddhima was lost in her thoughts, Muskaan kept blabbering (lol typical muski ). Arjun pulled Riddhima's pallu making her come out of her thoughts. She held her pallu from her abdomen in the front inorder not to let her pallu fall. She bent down to Arjun's level and he placed a wet kiss on her cheek.

Riddhima flushed as a boy never kissed her (lol ik he is a kid but...yea! ). "Chcahi I love you!" Arjun cutely said making Riddhima admire. She kissed his cheek and he frowned. "Kya hoa baby!" Muskaan asked making Arjun pout and Riddhima giggled. "Chachi ne mujhe yaha kissy nahi di like u do!"he pouted touching his lips. "Aww" Riddhima giggled and kissed his pouting lips.

"I saw that...oye Juni she is ur chachi!" Riddhima and Muskaan heard Armaan's voice. Riddhima's breath hitched and armaan came in front of them. He smirked at Riddhima and frowned at Muskaan "kya bhabhi, why is ur son kissing my would-be-wife?". Arjun pinched armaan leg making wince and said "jealous chachu!". Muskaan lightly smacked Arjun's back and smacked armaan's arm. "We will leave you too alone now! But only 15 min armaan haan? Ok? Uske baad dono neeche!" Muskaan teased Armaan while Riddhima's nervousness was growing to no extant.

Muskaan went and armaan turned to riddhima who was playing with her hands. He held her shivering hands and said "sooo?". She looked up confused and said "so?". He pulled her by her hands and she banged in his arms. She shivered as she felt his fingers creeping on her bare waist "I love you" he whispered lost in her eyes. She came back to reality as he said that remembered Muskaan telling him about his girlfriends. "C-cho-chodo mujhe!" She stammered making him cock his eyebrow and grin "kyun? Confession achi nahi! Phir karr deta hu!" He smirked pulling her close. "Zada free hone ki zaroorat n-nahi hai! M-m-mai jan-janti ho about ur girlfriends" she tried to be brave pointing her fingers. "Sweetheart I'm not flirting I'm just showing my love" armaan said wandering his hand on her waist under pallu.

"Stop playing with feelings! I bet you broke many girl's hearts." Riddhima spoke as Armaan cocked his eyebrows. "Those were just affairs Riddhima," he tried to justify himself, "so lets say I get married to you, u get enough of me, and then I'll be an affair too?" She disgustedly say. "But I LOVE you, it's different what I feel for you, I want to spend my whole life with you! I want to have kids with you! I want the world to recognize as 'MINE'. I want-" as his hand caressed her bare back, a few doris opened. He was cut when he heard her cry. "Heyy what happened? Maine kuch galat kaha?" He lightly rubbed her shoulder to calm her down.

ARMAAN POV

I've seen my girlfriends cry in front of me but that didn't hurt me. This did, her tears pierced my heart. I loved her and her every sorrow was my sorrow. I got a bad feeling that she developed a bad impression of me. I've NEVER been rejected because girls drool over me, but the fear of rejection from her side is because I LOVE HER!

ARMAAN POV END

"I don't want to get married, and that too to a man who had so many affairs, if you can't commit to one in the past, how are you gonna commit to me in future?" She sobbed as Armaan's worst fear came true, she was rejecting him.

"It's oh..okhay! I understand! Take your time!" Armaan choked and backed off as she sobbed. He had never felt sad if a broke up with him or rejected him but this was different. Moving down, he joined others for lunch. Soon, Riddhima came down and also joined. Only she avoided eye contact with Armaan.

Finishing lunch, Malliks were prepared to leave, when Rishab asked "so Armaan beta what did you decide?". Armaan look towards Riddhima who was playing with her hands and looking down. "Uncle we need time, Riddhima needs time" Armaan said as Rishab hearing his response tightened his jaw looking angrily towards Riddhima. He nodded and Malliks took their leave.

As he saw Mallik's car zooming out of their residence he turned towards Riddhima and shouted on top his lungs "IT'S BECAUSE OF YOU! WHAT DID YOU TELL HIM?". Riddhima started to sob. "Papa I just-" she tried to speak but he shouted " JUST GO UP TO YOUR ROOM AND U HAVE TULL TOMORROW MORNING! I NEED YOUR ANSWER TOMORROW MORNING".

Riddhima ran upstairs crying while Nikki ran behind her. Atmosphere was terrible. Anjali was quietly standing next to her father, Abhinav while Viven was sitting on the sofa staring at his angry dad. Silence was spread as Rishab was pacing in the hall worrying if the Malliks rejected them. If she gets married to Armaan, he will get a higher business reputation. Silence was broke as the loud shrill of his phone was heard. He picked up and all looked at him confusingly.

"Kal Janki aur maa arahe hai!!!" He said telling Padma who nodded. Everybody retired to their room while Padma went to the kitchen.

AT NIGHT

Riddhima was sitting in her room. She was fighting with her brain and heart when Padma came in with a tray of food.

"Beta you didn't have food after lunch! You must be starving na?" Padma asked Riddhima who let out a chuckle. "Why do you care mom? You never cared! Please stop acting, it gets awkward for me to see you acting as my oh-so-perfect mom. Mujhe aapki sympathy ki aadat nahi hai!" Riddhima said trying not to he rude but she was letting out her frustration. Padma felt sad and guilty for what she did with her daughter.

"Dheko beta Armaan acha ladka hai! Bahle hi uske past affairs hai, lekin uski ankhon mein maine tumhare liye pyaar dheka hai! He is the best for you! Trust me!" Padma said caressing her head. "And...Ananya and Karan bhaisaab will love you as their own daughter...which I couldn't give you!" Padma choked on the last bit and went outside.

Riddhima got up and looked at the moom remembering the number of 'I love you's' armaan said to her. She giggled and thought for a while how he was saying numerous I love You's.

NEXT MORNING

Riddhima came down dressed in a blue salwar suit when she saw her dadi, and Bua ji, Janki. Bua ji saw Riddhima and made a face while dadi said "aagyi mahrani sahiba uth ke?". "Namaste dadi!" Riddhima bend down and took blessing when Dadi pushed her feet away.

Riddhima, not being Khanna's blood, Janki and dadi hated her. Rishab had started to develop a soft corner for Riddhima but Bua ji and Dadi used to fill his ears.

"To kya faisla kiya tumne" Rishab walked out of his room holding a newspaper. "Papa..I have..no problem..with this marriage." Rishab whose chest filled up with pride, he went close to her and he raised his hand. Riddhima who thought he was gonna hit her shut her eyes but got surprised as she felt his hand caressing her head. "I am proud of you beta!" Rishab took her in a hug.

Riddhima's eyes filled with tears as at last she felt the warmth of a father's love. She was hesitant at first, but hugged him back as she fell him hug her tight. Janki made a face while Padma came out of the kitchen with breakfast "Rishab aa jaye! Nashte keliye!". He nodded and went to have breakfast.

"Rahul don't you have anything else to do? Always watching news!" Muskaan whined as she ran her hands in Armaan's hair who was laying in her lap on her bed. "Chachu!" Arjun asked a lost Armaan. "Hmm bol Juni?" Armaan asked looking towards him. "Chachi humare ghar kab aayenge?" Arjun asked making armaan lost again. "Patani baby! She said she needs time!" Armaan sighed while Muskaan lovingly caressed his hair.

"Bhabhi!" Armaan said coming out of her lap and sitting next to her. "Hmm?" Muskaan said putting some pillows behind her as she rested her back on the bed. "I don't think ke Riddhima iss rishte keliye haan kahegi!" Armaan said with a gloomy face. "Wow devar ji! You have fallen hard for that girl! But she will trust me" Muskaan chuckled while Armaan pouted.

"How can you be so sure?" Armaan asked confusingly. "Because I saw something in her eyes when I told her about your girlfriends. When she came down to meet us, she was blushing but when I told her about your gfs, she was hurt" Muskaan said making Armaan smile sadly.

"Hello Mallik sahab!" Rishab spoke as Karan picked up the phone. "Jee kaise hai aap?" Karan said while Armaan, Muskaan, Rahul, all came out in hall. "Main theek hu! Humare taraf se rishta pakka hai! Riddhima ne Haan kehdi!" Karan smiled widely as Rishab spoke. "To fir humari taraf se bhi haan samjhiye!" Karan said making everybody smile except Armaan who was shocked.

NIGHT

"Riddhima how can u say yes?" Nikki shockingly spoke at Riddhima who was looking at the moon. "Nikki please no more discussion on this topic! Go and sleep in your room!" Riddhima sighed and Nikki stomped her foot "Fine don't tell me if that boy ruins your life," amd left slamming the door.

Riddhima went and took a book to pass her time when she saw the balcony door sliding. She gasped and stood on her bed.

RIDDHIMA POV

I didn't know what I was doing. But I knew Armaan was going to be with me through every thick and thin. After Nikki left I decided to read a book as sleep was far away from my eyes. As I picked up the book, I heard my balcony door sliding and seeing the person my heart started beating faster.

"Tum" I gasped seeing Armaan there.

RIDDHIMA POV END

ARMAAN POV

I still couldn't believe that Riddhima agreed for marriage. Looking at the time, it read 10 pm, grabbing my keys I drove towards Gupta Residence.

Looking towards her balcony I sighed. Putting my feet on the screws, I started to climb up her balcony. Reaching in her balcony I slid the door going in. She turned around to see me. I goofily smile at her while she gasped.

"Tum" I heard her say, her face was showing shocked expression.

ARMAAN POV END

Armaan came near her while Riddhima dropped her book on the bed and checked if her door was locked. She locked it and ran towards him "TUM? Yahan kya kare ho?" She panicked.

"Tumne Shaadi keliye haan kyu ki?" Armaan asking Riddhima who was confused. "Huh?" Riddhima said. "Tell me I thought You didn't wanted to get married to me." Armaan said holding her arms softly. "What! Ok tume mujhse shaadi karni thi! Now I said yes so now u should be happy na!" Riddhima replied annoyingly as his stupid question was irritating her.

Before he could say anything, Riddhima heard noise from outside o her room and panicked. She pushed Armaan towards the window and whispered "armaan jao please isse pehle koi aajaye!". He nodded and went out the window, She saw he wasn't climbing down said "goo na". He said "I love you" and kissed her cheek, making her eyes wide and blush. He chuckled at her shocked face and waved her bye before sitting in car.

2 WEEKS LATER

Malliks had talked to Pandit ji and fixed the date of AR marriage. They had decided to keep the marriage 1 week after the engagement.

Riddhima was staring at her ring shining in her ring finger. She had a shy smile playing on her lips, while looked at her ring. "I'm engaged" she dreamingly sighed while Nikki slapped her forehead. "Tu pagal hai" Nikki said as she was still not satisfied that Armaan didn't have any affairs anymore. "Come on Nikki he is not that bad" Riddhima said laying down on the bed caressing her engagement ring. "Whatever! Tu jaane aur tera Mallik jaane" Nikki went in the bathroom while Riddhima layed down sighing and admiring her ring.

In these 2 weeks, both had became good friends. Riddhima had started to develop a soft corner for Armaan as he always made her special. Took her out for lunch, send chocolates, flowers, gifts for her. She realized one thing, Rishab Khanna may not be her biological father but he chose the best life partner for her.

2 DAYS BEFORE WEDDING

Riddhima was helping Padma and Buaji in the kitchen making food for tonight as it was Sangeet and then next day would be haldi, and then wedding. She was cutting apples for fruit salad when the knife sliced threw her hand and there was a big cut. "Ahhh" Riddhima winced as blood was coming out from a big cut. Janki Buaji and Padma rushed towards her.

"Padma tumhari beti to jaha bhi jaati hai waha ka kaam kharaab hojata hai!" Janki Buaji taunted and Riddhima softly sobbed as her mom had to hear taunts because of her. "I'm sorry mom" she whispered and sobbed while Padma Just caressed her arm and called Anjali.

Anjali was sitting in her room draping band aid around Riddhima's hand while Nikki was standing next to her scolding her. "Nikki tum humari Buaji ko nahi jaanti" Anjali said while Riddhima wiped her tears.

Viven ran into the room with a box. "Didi a parcel has come for you" he said handing the parcel to her while Anjali helped her open it. A teddy bear came out of it which said I Love You, and underneath it, it said in gold Riddhima.

She blushed and caressed it knowing Armaan had sent it.

EVENING FUNCTION
SANGEET

Riddhima and Armaan were sitting together on the couch decorated with flowers. Ladies were singing and boys and girls were dancing.

Riddhima was hiding her hand under dupatta so that her in laws or Armaan wont see. She was wearing a beautiful bottle green lehenga choli. Her choli was same colour and had golden work on it. Armaan was wearing a beige sherwani with green work on it.

A boy in black sherwani approached AR. "Heyy buddy kaisa hai?" The boy said while Armaan got up and hugged him. "ABHI! Yarr finally ur here for my wedding! Riddhima this is Abhimanyu Modi, my best friend! And Abhi this is Riddhima, my would-be-wife!"Armaan introduced them. "Hi bhabhi! Must say you're beautiful!" Abhi complimented her and she blushed.

Nikki came up to them and said "Ridzi yeh Anjali di kaha reh gayi? Humein dance bhi to shuru karna hai". "Oh hello dance aur tum" abhi said while Nikki looked at him glaring. "Mr who-so-ever tum jo bhi ho aapne kaam se kaam rakho!" Nikki glared at him. "Oh please hum ladke wale tumse better dance karr sakte hai!" Abhi replied.

Before nikki could say anything Armaan butt in saying "look before you guys start any fight, why not Boys vs Girls dance?" Armaan said making both grin. "Good one buddy! Hum ladke wale jheet karr rahenge!" Abhi said while Nikki rolled her eyes and said "haan haan dheklenge!".

NEXT DAY HALDI

Riddhima's haldi was done she was sitting in her room when Armaan from the window. "Armaan tum yaha kya kare ho?" She gasped getting up from her bed. She thanked her stars as the door was closed. She started to back up as he moved towards. Her back hit the wall and soon she was trapped in his arms as he placed his two hands on the wall blocking her.

"Apni hone wali biwi ko dhekne aaya hun! Tumhe koi problem?" He whispered while she shivered because of the close proximity. She closed her eyes as he kissed her eyes. Moving down to her cheeks then he kissed the corner of her lips.
She opened her eyes as he took her dressed hand in his and asked "how us your hand now?". She shivered as his hand was holding her bare waist as she was wearing a yellow saree.

Before she could say anything, they heard buaji coming. She told him to hide behind the cupboard. "Kon tha yaha?" Buaji asked. "K-koi nahi buaji!" Riddhima stammered.

Everybody came in room to hear buaji shouting. "Rishab mukhe iss ke room se kisi ladke ki awaaz aayi hai!" Rishab moved and slapped her "kal teri shaadi hai aur tu yeh gul khila rahi hai!" He said while she started to sob.

"Papa maine kuch" she was cut when he slapped her again and shouted "Armaan ko pata chal gaya to pata nahi kya hoga!". Armaan got angry he came out and everybody was shocked.

"HOW DARE YOU SLAP HER? I WAS IN HER ROOM" he shouted and moved towards Padma, "aur kaise maa hai aap? Aapki beti ke ooper false ilzaam lagg rahe hai and ur JUST standing there".

"You know what! I've had enough of this! I won't let her bare this Sh*t anymore! Chalo riddhima! Main abhi aur issi wakt isse shaadi kara hun!" He grabbed her hand and moved out towards his car. All followed him to stop him except Nikki. Today she came to know that Armaan was perfect for her best friend.

MANDIR

Both were sitting in front of the holy fire and Pandit jee was chanting Mantras. Riddhima was just lost in the slaps she got. Armaan knew it was too soon, but a day later they had gotten married, so why not now. Abhi and Atul were present there as their witnesses.

"Abh aap kanya ki maang mein sindoor bhariye!" Pandit ji told him. Armaan took a pinch and filled her maang while she closed her eyes as some fell on her nose. "Abh aap manglsutra pehnaye!" Pandit gave armaan the nuptial thread. Armaan while tying the manglesutra, whispered "don't worry everything will be fine!". She smiled lightly looking at him.

"Vivaah sampat hoa, abh se aap dono Pati Patni hoye!" Pandit said while both took blessings from him. Atul and Abhi congratulated them. They were moving towards the car when armaan felt riddhima had stopped moving. He turned around to see riddhima untying her pallu with his pink dupatta which was placed on his shoulder over his suit.

She ran up the stairs, in mandir and took a container of Sindoor. When she came down Armaan felt blessed as he had seen her taking the container from Pandit jee.

MALLIK MANSION

AR and Abhi-Atul came in. Ananya was surprised to see sindoor in Riddhima's maang. "Armaan yeh-" she spoke but was cut by armaan. "Muski bhabhi aap riddhima ko ioper mere room me lejao!" Muskaan nodded and took riddhima upto Armaan's room.

When Riddhima had gone upto his room, armaan told Ananya and Karan about all the story. "Beta tumne bilkul sahi kiya" ananya said.

After having a talk with everybody he went to his room and saw Riddhima standing next to the window. "Riddhima-" he was interrupted, when Riddhima hugged him and cried "I love you armaan".

After few minutes of sobbing, she came out and saw desire in his eyes. She lowered her eyes and blushed. He held her chin and was about to place his lips on hers when she said "Armaan-" but he stopped her by saying "mujhe Haq hai!" And placed his lips on hers.
