Hey guys, I hope sum1 can help me out here. When I used 2 watch SGMP b4 it always said Amant was from Dubai..............I went to Pakistan 4 5wks, came back, saw it that day, and now, it says he's from Faisalabad, Pakistan!!!!!!!! Y the change, and where IS he from? Is he from FA orignally and moved 2 Dubai?????? It doesn't make sense!!!!!!! Raja is my fave though, he's such an awesome singer!!!!!!!😛

He was chosen by ID from Dubai. He is the winner of the SRGMP contest held in Dubai, but he is originally from Pakistan (Faislabad) and lot of viewers allegedly complained that he was from Pakistan and should be referred to as from Pakistan and therefore Aditya started calling him Pakistan ke Mahabali.

Thanks guys! That is alot clearer now. Hey Mermaid, agreed the biggest prob with this type of music show, is ppl always nearly vote regionally!!!!!! I mean, take Sandeep from II2 last yr, he was no way betta than Amey and Karunya, but obv regional votin did it 4 him!!!!

It think it should make no difference what so ever about where is amanat or any singer from. They are good singers and should be judged based on their singing.

I think next years show the contestants should not mention where they're from...not even the last names should be mentioned...or the names should be changed to make the show fair!!...not to mention no love stories and sob stories!! I love Amanat...he's the best!!

yah but did u notice that when srk asked him in todays episodde where r u frm pak.. he said lahore so it was frm dubai to faislabad, pakistan, to lahore, pakistan.. i think adi is in such confusion of where amanat is frm he now only says "amanat from pakistan" while introducing hhim...

Amanat commented he's from Lahore (because Faisalabad) is very close to Lahore. Lahore is where SRK's family was from, and Amanat mentioned he had visited that exact location in lahore..
