IKRS 31st August 2015 ep.19 My Take

The episode is about information gathering in varied modes.. either in person on a one to one basis, as Dashrant does rather hypocritically from the cyber caf man.. what is interesting is how easily Dashrant manages to get an important clue to his problem.. the name of the place where the widows wished to send some information.. Delhi! here what surprised me was that the information is given out of reverence for Dashrant, rather than in return for a bribe. Information is also gathered via the telephone.. without meeting each other face to face..such is technology..the easy ,quickest way.. and safest?

But sending and receiving information has it's snags too.An obstacle course ..Our determined Dhani too faces many obstacles.. yet she soldiers on.. it's part of character building for her.. But for us we have this feeling invariably that how easily things work out for the evil and how hard it is for good to make a headway? We despair at the hurdles Dhani faces at every step. But then is this not life.. easy for some and full of challenges for others? Do circumstances, power or knowledge or lack of it? have any bearing on the situation that surrounds Dhani? Yet then, in this world of contradictions.. where there is despair, there exists hope too. Dhani finds hers her in her faith. Where all else seems to be crumbling .. she is held by the divine.. as she seeks help from divine intervention.. and her prayers are answered as we find a committed Viplav ..who still awaits for her response.. now this in itself has to be a positive thing towards Dhani's case. Although, this too does not come easy for Dhani.. she phones him, cries as he tells her off for her blas attitude towards the case.. but here too, the gods help Dhani.. as Tania flies to her rescue and not only does she assist in the case, but also reprimands Viplav for being short with Dhani! We have here a woman being sensitive to the needs of a vulnerable widow in need! Although Viplav laughs off the matter flippantly.. women understand women better..

Dhani rings Viplav again it seems Tania's words have made an impact on him. Viplav apologizes for his rudeness...shows an understanding of Dhani's problems ,hence he realizes he is at fault.. he asks her.. are you listening?.. where had Dhani heard those words and tone before. Dhani persists , and gets what information she wants.. he tells her about the DM date. He needs her to fax the house agreement papers urgently. When she is confused he says he'll send someone to collect them.. she is concerned about his fees.. she asks him. tells him about her financial condition that she can't afford it.. but he says don't worry it can be discussed later.. she replies.. we'll pay you gradually.. another reference..for him that he may know these people, as with the watch too they said the same thing..so Dhani deals with this hurdle too.. but then nothing comes free! the hurdle of paying for the phone has to be dealt with.. At the home front ,Dhani confronts mild opposition... Rajlaxmi brings home the fact that fighting the case will cost money and that the lawyer is taking them for a ride..she needs to realize that nothing comes free or is easy! but where there is despair there is hope in word and action.. badi amma paid the phone call bill.. Suvarna acknowledges .. Dhani's effort in saving the ashram. Dhani.. soldiers on and expresses her belief that the lawyer genuinely wants to help and save their shelter...

However another obstacle is yet to come.. being hoodwinked by an imposter! Dhani hand's over documents to the man whom Dashrant and Tripurari set up .This is where we are left gutted, speechless.. this has to be a heavy price to pay for being virtuous and righteous.. what are the good meant to do in such a situation?? well Dhani continues to be the eternal optimist.. they will not be kicked out of the shelter they'll all continue to live here.. Babi amma adds, along that god's grace and Dhani's sheer hard work and determination is a factor.. but Dhani confirms, elders blessings have made this possible... all I can say is major evil forces attack.. there has to be a reason that Shiva ji is allowing this too happen..?

The episode also refers to weight, exercise, food.. all features related to the physical perspective of human beings.

Kanak continues to give emotional abuse to her daughter by cruel references to her daughter's obesity. At one point she refers to her daughter as an elephant! and then beckons Shiva to have mercy on her daughter's body mass that is fit only to be severed and sold! In her rage Kanak ignores the fact that calling her daughter a female elephant is in itself dishonouring Bappa who is the beloved child of Shiva ji and Parvati ji.. the poor girl gets out of her mother's face by saying ..she shall exert herself and work out the mass..

On the other hand you have Tania slim, trim and healthy returning from the gym.. are the cv's then targeting the issue of obesity and promoting work outs and healthy life styles? Surely this is a healthy promotion. However if obesity is put down and abused as shown in the programme ,then it may produce a distasteful reaction.. instead! As the issue needs sensitive treatment.. of course it can be seen that chances of gyms functioning in Delhi are more likely than in Banaras.. I may be wrong. With regards to references to food.. we see Durga offering lassi a yogurt mixed drink to Dashrant.. the drink can be used to perform religious rituals too.. it was meant for her son but Dashrant snatches it instead.. then back to... information.. buying it here..dashrant buys his mistress durga's assurance with a pair of gold karas.. that she will ensure that her son Tripurari does his job properly by being his mole.

Then you have savoury samosas being offered to Suvarna by Tripurari to extract information from her. he refers to their meeting at evening time as romantic.. just before light meets the darkness..light as in getting information out of her.. as he was in the dark.. Suvarna gives into the samosas and his wooing and enlightens him tells him don't worry a lawyer from Delhi is fighting our case ,and he sending someone to collect important papers to be collected today..Tripurari says great! darkness and light will continue to meet.. Tripurari gets his information to make Dashrant happy.. but.. survana is the insider who harms.. leaks facts.. sad part is she knows not what the samosas are costing her!

In the end.. looks like the darkness has got hold of some revelation

Overall to me.. I see a relationship is growing between Viplav and Dhani. They speak without realizing who they are? without seeing each other.. so to me meetings without meeting!
