Anita Hassanandani, who plays the negative role of Shagun in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, is now trying her hand at humour with Comedy Nights Bachao. The actress hopes that this stint will help her get out of her "comfort zone." She says, "I think this show will help me open up as a person because comedy is all about timing. People who I am close to, compliment me for my sense of humour. However, comedy is out of my comfort zone. Luckily this is scripted, so I am hoping to improve with each episode. Though the genre is insult comedy, it isn't like the AIB roast. The humour here still belongs to the nice, happy zone."
Juggling the two shows, Anita reveals that it isn't much of a struggle. She says, "Luckily I'm not the lead for the show, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, so I inform the team about my availability and they schedule the shoot accordingly." The actress also has a film to look forward to " she will essay the role of Athiya Shetty's bhabhi in the upcoming film Hero. She says, "My character is positive and sweet in the movie. It felt good shooting for an actual A-grade film."
Anita's career is going great at the moment, but the actress reveals that she hasn't forgotten the low phase she faced a few years ago. She says, "I had done a film called Koi Aap Sa with Aftab Shivdasani. I had put in a lot of effort and was sure it would do well. However, when the film flopped, I went into depression for six months." She states that it is this phase that taught her a lot. She adds, "It taught me that you shouldn't let your career affect your life so much. I realised that I started from nowhere and still achieved so much, so I shouldn't be greedy. That doesn't mean I am not ambitious; but if things don't work out today, it is still okay. I have my family to fall back on. I am content. I started this journey when I was 16. I have done television and movies; I have worked in the south and delivered hits and flops. Now I am married. My priorities have changes but the journey has been beautiful."
What the hell?Lucky my foot. She is so manipulative with her words. I hate her. This is like sour grapes. She is not the lead of yhm so she has to go and do other shows. She is actually unlucky.
I dislike her more now after she and her friend eddie tried to defame divyanka.
Heard that AH is gonna mimic EK on the show, that will be fun. 😛

Happy Birth Day ANITA...
No other song fits YHM as a whole so well. I've tried to put the story of YHM (the first 242 episodes) into this song....
