Written Update - 28th Sept 2007

As the show begins, green room is shown.. Each of the contestant speak in front of the camera that they are nervous about the result and it depends on the public if they are through to finals or not..

Pandit Jasraj is one of the guest for today and he gives a live performance today on stage 👏👏👏 It was definitely a treat to hear him.. Amanat was on harmonium.. The stage is decorated with candles and all contestants are sitting on the stage.. The mentors table and chairs have also changed and they are looking more professional and elegant.. After his performance, contestants and Aditya get blessings from him.. He then meets the mentors and they too get his blessings..

Jagjit Singh enters the stage and he too gives a live performance and sings sarakti jaaye rukh se nakhab ahistha.. What a treat 👏👏

He says he is happy to be here and congratulates SRGMP for the success.. He also adds that he follows this show as there are good singers and says you all four are winners..

Shekhar - I feel lucky to be here.. I have learnt a lot for pandit jasraj and Jagjit Singh is just like our family member and I started my music from him.. I also follow him for many things and my voice also sometimes sounds like him.. Jagjit Singh says I know Shekhar from when he was in school or college.. (Shekhar says school) and used to visit his father.. Then he mentioned that Shekhar is interested in music and so made him to take proper riyaz fro Niyad Ahmed Khan sahab..

Vishal - Someone said we are good gurus but I feel we are not actual gurus and those two who are sitting there are the actual ones.. We will learn a lot today and the contestants will also learn

Himesh - I am happy that Pandit Jasraj is here and the romantic feeling who brought in songs was Jagjit Singh..

ID - Give us blessings, that is what we need..

Pandit Jasraj - This show is improving a lot and singers are also very good.. To Aditya - You are managing very well as host.. And to mentors he says, usually they keep fighting, but nice to see all of them happy and united..

Aditya announces that this week they have got 53,12,003 votes and from India it is 34,83,959 votes..

In India voting the contestant to get the highest number of votes this week is Raja and he has got 9,44,399 votes..

Raja comes on stage and Vishal says - Dont think aout voting, just concentrate on singing and learn well today..

Today contestants will sing two songs one semi classical and another ghazal..

First round is Ghazal.. Raja sings Yeh dil yeh pagal dil from Ghulam Ali..

He will be singing the song made by the Big FM listeners and to make this announcement, Vrajesh and Anirudh comes on stage and says he will sing Tumhari zul ke saayein of Mohammad Rafi..

Poonam is third in Indian votes and she has got 8,84,03 votes.. Her mom has come on sets today and she is brought by a Zee TV reporter on stage.. She says she is happy to be here and requests everyone to give her love and support.. She also greets the mentors.. But she breaks down.. Poonam says I am thankful to Zee TV.. My mom has been my inspiration.. I never thought I will be here leaving my mom.. But Im happy to be here..

Aditya announces that Poonam has also adopted a daughter and her name is Simran.. He asks her how good a mother is Poonam. She answers a very good mother.. ID speaks with her and asks do you learn music? She says No.. He asks Poonam, why didnt you make her learn? She answered - Her voice is not that good.. ID asks Simran to ask her mom - Is her voice nice? (in a humor)

She sings Dard se mera daman of Lata Mangeskar..

Jagjit Singh - You were nervous at the beginning.. Do Pranayam before singing, that nervousness will not be there..
