I was kind of feeling the same but wasn't sure whether I was the only one.

I think even the judges know Moti is going to be out tomorrow (speculating based on the pattern of bottom 3).

But it's weird...I thought Nahid would get it last week, Ananya got it, today I thought Ananya would get it but Moti got it... 😆 I don't know, there's something pretty weird about this season, especially with the judges. I love Nahid's voice and Sonakshi being a judge told she is her favorite(which in itself is weird) and today asked her to sing for Akira. 😆 There's this hint of bias within the judging panel which honestly wasn't there last week.

Anyways coming to the performances, I really hope both Nahid and Ananya continue pursuing singing even after the show ends... I feel the industry needs such rockstarish voices to give equal takkar to the likes of Vishal Dadlani, etc. The sugary sweet voice has now become quite outdated. And I feel Nityashree seriously needs to up her game.

Btw is next week the finale?usually four ppl qualify for finals in Indian idol right?

What Moti as Performer of the day? 😲 I didn't see till the end, just saw all the performances. I guess they want all the singers to get once. He wasn't the best yesterday. It was Nahid for me yesterday.

At the same time, I feel Moti deserves a lot of appreciation. He is a folk singer and it's difficult for him to adapt to the other songs. Yet. He has sung all kinds of song in his folkish style. It sounds the same and that's because he tries to sing every song in his style rather than trying to copy the original. I think his growth has been massive when its compared to others.

Nithyashree has been a complete disappointment after Sukhwinder's episode.

Ananya is good but she tries to be too much expressive turning off the song completely. Yesterday, though her rendition at the end was good...I didn't like the initial portion.

I like Vaishnav. He has been really versatile but his voice hasn't broken yet and sounds girlish at times.

Nahid has grown confident and she is rocking it at the right moment.

moti might have just got saved i guess by that performer of the day thing by judges if the trend of last week continues i have a sneaky feeling it may be vaishnav or annanya today and i like both of them

Agree with you. Moti was the only one who didn't get a spontaneous standing ovation, which Vishal realised and quickly rectified. But doesn't POTD grant immunity from elimination? I feel he always sings any song only in his style, therefore for me there has been no growth in him, although he did try singing softly Aaj Din Chadeya's first 2 stanzas.

Vaishnav definitely shrieked the high notes at the end of his song.

Nahid and Nityashree were the best followed by Ananya, but she's overdoing the expressions.

Don't get the song offer to Nahid. Agreed she's a great singer and it's an honour to be picked for a song while the competition is still on, but a heroine demanding who her voice should be... The judges are definitely biased in favour of some contestants. Is this a subtle way of getting the NE people to vote, otherwise Nahin would suffer?

On a humourous note - KK was fascinated by Vishal's bald pate and kept putting his hand on it twice during the show 😆 Found it extremely hilarious

Completely agree! Could not bear to see Ananya's overacting on the stage when she was taking the high notes. She badly needs to improve her stage presence. Judges' favoritism on one hand, politicians on the other play their role too. Assam CM requested the people of Assam to vote for Nahid overwhelmly as she is from Assam. Damn wierd. It is not a competition between the states afterall. Nahid should be voted for talent and not for where she comes from. Nithyashree and Vaishnav maintain their standard since day one, hence their performances are extra ordinary that don't surprise anyone anymore. Moti deserves an encouragement, thus deserved to be honoured with the award.
