This season I felt the judges realised the top 13 they had selected wasn't really TOP 13. They lacked balance 1. Age wise and 2. Gender wise. Not that it should matter when the show is based on purely talent. But the elimination started getting a hit because of that. Moreover with maestros like Lata ji and others appreciating individual kids, the channel/PH/Judges probably wanted to cash on the popularity.

For me, in the top 13- Subhankar, Surendar..even Yumna didn't deserve as there were much much better singers during the auditions. They may not have performed well during the theatre rounds...but the top 13 in itself wasn't impressive.

Regarding the CM appealing for votes, I think it's understandable. He's wanting his girl to win and therefore can be blatant in his bias. Especially in a competition where the audience vote counts for 50% of the result. But the judges cannot, must not show such blatant bias. And it was not only Sonakshi involved but Vishal is the music director of the song/movie. So that's 2 out of 3 judges who are heavily biased in favour of one candidate. This is not one of those other shows where the judges themselves were mentoring the contestants and Himesh Reshammiya screams 'Mujhe tere ghar mein roti chahiye' 😆

Btw - Nahid and Nityashree are my favourites

@Hamzanuha: There is no immunity for the POTD winner..

The best way to listen to these songs, especially Ananya's, is by just listening and not watching.. In the initial days, her expressions added charm to the songs but recently, instead of adding passion, it looks as if she has to put in a lot of effort to get those pitches and notes.. Also, Nithya looks weird doing some dance step standing at a spot when there is a gap in her song (thankfully that didn't happen this week)..

As for the over-reaction from judges, I too think it is wrong.. One, towards other contestants and two, because fortunes can change every other week.. In initial days, the best and heartfelt of the praises were for Nithyashree and now, it is as if Nahid can do no wrong..

Speaking of Nithyashree, does anyone else feel that her voice has not recovered yet? She seemed to be straining her voice even yesterday.

Totally agree👍🏼..cheif ministers should stay out of singing contests,vote for whom u think sings best ,music should be beyond north south east west divine

Do agree with many that it is an encouragement award but they give twice to those who really deserves for the performance on that particular day. I do like when they give such awards purely for encouragement to some...it helps to push themselves forward for better performance.

I do feel that it is Moti who is going to get eliminated...no regrets...but love his unique voice.

As said Ananya is extremely good in expression...one should close their eyes to listen but giving weightage to expression ( facial and lyrics ) may take away the real essence of the song. Personally I feel she has a good voice and range and am sure...she will emerge as a very good singer in future. Good luck to her.

My favourites till date... Nahid and Nithyashree.

Nahid has a beauitiful quality ...she sings quietly and knows how to control her voice throw...thus making the song sound easy ... the flow smooth...and automatically bringing life to the lyrics . I feel she doesn't give herself a pressure by giving importance to a particular note...her concentration is mainly...the tune and life given to a song/lyrics by using her beautiful voice techniques effortlessly.

Nithyashree...a beautiful singer with a lovely expression...one would love to watch her perform and not miss the chance of seeing her singing. She is gifted with voice type...she cannot be classified into one particular slot...she experiments with her voice...which is truly amazing BUT am confused with her voice range/pitch...for the past two episodes...I felt she was there but not there...at times...I feel...when she can sing a song like 'Mahi ve'...how come she struggled with the pitch in the end of yesterday's song and previous episode too.

I do wish Nahid and Nithyashree jointly hold the trophy for my expression of joy and sad will be 50-50...if any of these two win or lose😆...anyways...best wishes to the four...all are talented.

For me yesterday it was Nahid,Vaishnav and Ananya.Yes first time I felt vaishnav's strain for high pitch.But he is a consistent singer who got maximum standing ovation.ovation. Nahid always gives the feeling of a playback singer.I don't like Ananya's expression but must agree her high notes are mind blowing.Had too much of expectation from Nityashree after Sukhvi's episode.But disappointed.her songs were so so only the extra aalap sounds good.Yup! wondering how Moti became POTD.

May be to save from elimination since judges score matters 50%.
