If marriage in Banaras was supposed to be different from a marriage in say Mumbai..Rama's family would not be making a mockery of all the customs whether it's the mehndi..haldi etc. Aren't the customs supposed to be sacred as well or it is just the end product?

Yes, but television has such an influence on people. You'd think that now, these new shows would come with more sense and respect for these things but alas we're going directly from bad to worst.

"Rishta whai, sochi nayi"? 👏 Congratulations, Star Plus. Kya soch hai! Great example.

Yeah, but the thing is, marriage is not something you toy around with like Ekta Kapoor does in almost all of her serials. It's sacred, and even more for Hindus, because you get bound for the next seven lives, and as dumb as it might sound to some people, it means a lot to others. If they decide to go on that track, it's stupid as hell and they'll be contributing to violating the sanctity of marriage. In Banaras, should I remind you.

exactly... the environment that is being shown in tsm like everyone has so much faith and believe in rituals and god vidhwa putai nahi kar sakti all this kind of things... are the cvs really planning to show a divorce drama in a serial like this??? .. then I have to say it is following the path of meri aashiqui(the same slot holder) ... shaadi ka mazak mat banao just like the other serials do...

I think it is so stupid that after everything rama did to get rachita to notice him...he pursued her like crazy and didnt give a damn about expressing his love for her infront of everyone when rudra was beating him up and the thought of him backing out of the marriage just because his family (the wicked witches of the west and his mom🤢😡) tell him to, he'll happily do it...just because rachu's truth about not being rishi's daughter comes out...where is the logic in that?!! where is your loyalty and balls rama!!!
If he truly loved rachita he would never agree to marry amu...he would have the guts to say he will stand by rachu no matter what or better still just say no to getting married full stop...this is totally ruining the story
