I do agree telling dialogues with braces bring out change in facial expressions to not to make it look awkward . dialogue delivery will not be clear most of the times , it takes many retakes . that too for a character which requires animated expressions is difficult to portray .

Guys guys ; stop fighting...everyones thinking differs..some find sj as mahira cute and some find the other way...sj is a great actress and i absolutely love and adore her and sj looks cute as mahira...just take it easy...and wats with this haters and lovers..everyone has tthe right to voice out their opinion..but we have no right to bash if his / hers opinion is against our thinking...Its all ok...we know sj is good thats enough.we cant bash anyone...and there's nothing to report...

Priyanka didn't overact in barfi,not at all...the comparison is absurd imo because surbhi overacts like hell in this role,also because mahira isn't autistic.

I think SJ is trying to add nuances on her own to differentiate between Zoya and Mahira as they are both very similar in characterization. While I feel she owned Zoe seamlessly, it's not the case with Mahira. I can feel that she's ACTING. I am sure she will improve in the coming days once the story picks up. She's still recuperating from a head injury, and has traveled to and fro trans-Atlantic just a few days into the latest season, so must be jet-lagged too. She hasn't had the time to settle down as Mahira, so to speak.

^^exactly...trying to add nuances...but what is the use of trying to add nuances and trying to make it different than her other characters if she overacts so ridiculously...i rather see some repetitive but good and apt and non ott expressions than this!
