Talking about similarities or difference with his
character Yuvraj he says," Like him I am too
finicky about what I wear. I can't be under or
over dressed. On the other side, he is very
possessive about his mother, unlike Sahil who is
not really a family guy."
Personally speaking Sahil like most youngsters
does not identify with most of the saas- bahu
stuff going on TV," but this does not wrankle me
anymore, for I have come around to understand
that the audiences are not ready to watch
realistic stuff. They already have their plate full of
woes and rather prefer to be entertained. They
wanted to be transported to another world which
excites them thereby allowing to forgetting their
worries and sorrow for a little while . Here I would
say that if a show works it mean that it is
appropriate content which should not be viewed
from the lens of progressive or regressive."
In closing Sahil admits that he yet to fully
experience fandom, " I have not been mobbed till
now but see people looking at me when I go to
Delhi and Chandigarh etc . This attention
unnerves me even now. "Point out that youth
show leads get much more fan following then
family drama protagonists? and he says," I don't
see much TV so don't know about others. But I
am happy with what I get . I have a long away to
