One point on which I disagree with you is about Amaya doing this for Ganjanand? I don't think she'd do it for him but rather her mom and her superman, just like Rachita did when that asswipe threatened to separate the two families again. And well, like she had done when she had taken the asswipe to the hospital. It's because they understand what a father means to a daughter and it's a shame that Ganjanand only cares about his izzat rather than the precious granddaughters he has and it's not fair on Mantu either but whatever decision Amaya will take, I would totally understand. I'd rather slap Ramashrey Gupta to death because he really has become spineless. I mean, Rachi's sadness shows on her face and he can't even see that? Does he even really love her or is he just obsessed with obtaining her? If he really does love her, he will do something to escape marrying Amu.

Anyway, one thing that's fishy... The Gupta gang despises Amaya, right? And Sumitra is hell bent on humiliating the Mathur-Chaubey family? Then why exactly should they push Rama to marry Amu??? Like, once the truth about Rachi's parentage is out, they just have to turn around and not give a shit about the ladkiwale and the vengeance is done anyway. What the hell??

TSM started out really well, but since the past 2 months, makers have totally butchered the essence of the story which was about coming of age of a rich, spoilt brat Amaya and to some extent of her little less spoilt sisters'.

They have really rushed with the coming of age of Amaya, the process should have been more gradually shown to make it relatable. Also they should have focussed on how the family (who are used to a uber luxurious life) manages to make their ends meet in Benaras, their day-to-day struggles, failures, their standing up for each other, gradual blooming of love angels and ultimately all the 3 girls becoming independent, succesful, and most importantly responsible adults thereby making their dead father proud. Another important aspect was to clear all the false financial fraud allegations off their father's name and possibly taking his company to bigger heights.

But instead they started showing regressive concepts like "kasme-vade" for the sake of rude strangers, leaving everything to "bhagya", kitchen politics of villains turned jokers, unnecessary crybaby potrayal of a self-made streetsmart lead character, excessive izzat rant, putting a curfew on any progressive thoughts n actions, and so on. And currently they are shoving their so-called izzat and sanskar down our throats with a dash of shagun n abshagun!!!

Coming to the topic, Rama's character was never portrayed as a strong one as was Mantu's. So I don't think his character has been butchered, he was always meant to be immature. He has always been shown as a Mama's boy and such men exist in plenty in the real world. And they are generally blind towards the actions of their moms, until the point they become wife's boy!

I agree with you!! He is soo spineless! He does not even have guts to stand up for Rachita against his family's useless drama. He is clearly not man-ed up enough unfortunately :(
Hopefully to see Rama Man up!

I see what you're saying. In that case I would want Sneha to speak up and not let Amu ruin her life for something like this. And about Rama...at first I really liked him for his positive attitude, but after the fight with Rudra...I started to have some doubt. I think if he really loved Rachi he would have given her some space. Its almost like he's smothering her now. I find him very immature. And to be honest I don't want Rachi let alone Amu to get married to him right now because he can't protect her or give her the respect she deserves in his house.
