Time pass for today
Arivudai Nambi is basking in glory as he has fulfilled his 'darling' Gayu's first wish, namely that of thattu thatting' her first enemy namely Moorthy. As usual he is running behind her with trails of jollu on his front, back, side, and of course around his feet. Gayathri is all smiles and poruthufying Nambi's advances.
For a change Benny drives the car, Nambi and Gayathri are in the captain seats. The car stops at a signal. There is a knock on the window glass. Gayathri rolls it down to see a beggar woman in rags. She puts her hand inside and lightly taps Gayathri's shoulders.
Beggar - "Amma, dharmam podu amma... ..."
Gayathri - "Ada chee, kaiyai edu... ennai thodadhe... "
Beggar - "rendu naala saapidalai... amma... peria amma... peria manasu pannu amma"
Gayathri - "picchai edukka unakku vekkama illai? poi tholai"
Benny (mind voice) - 'oru piccha kaari innoru picchakaariya paarthu kelvi kekkudhu paaru'
At the same time, the power goes off and the traffic signals lights are off. Not a policeman in sight, hence it is free for all. Two wheelers and auto rickshaws ply from all directions as a result of which shortly the traffic comes to a standstill at the junction. No vehicle can move. Benny switches off the car and gets down from the car and walks forward to help a few other like minded people to clear the traffic.
Chaos outside doesnot seem to affect Nambi.
Nambi - "Gayu darling... ippo sandhosham thane... Moorthyai kavanichaachu.."
Beggar - "Amma ennaiyum konjam kavaningamma..."
Gayathri - "Ada chee..."
Nambi - "Enna darling ennayai poi chee nu solare.."
Gayathri - "ungalai illai Nambi ...Sir... neenga senja udhaviyai ennikkum marakka maatten.."
Nambi - "udhaviyai mattum than marakka maatiya? Appo ennai?"
Gayathri - "Ungalaiyum marakka maatten"
Beggar continues sorandufying Gayathri - "Ennaiyum marakkaadheenga dharma thaayee..."
Nambi - "Ennakku edhavadhu chinna gift kidaikkuma?" He shows his cheek.
Beggar woman is not letting go of Gayathri - "Ennakkum edhavadhu gift irundha kudungamma... 5 roobai illai 10 roobai kooda podhum...
Gayathri, irritated by receiving from both the sides, gathers all her strength and slaps the woman.
The woman falls down and a crowd gathers around... People start panchayat.
Nambi comes out of the car and helps the beggar up and tries to give her 50 rupees.
Bystander - "Thalli vittutu , 50 roobai kudutha mudinjudha?"
Nambi - "Idhuve jaasthi, darling.."
Bystander - "Dei ennada olarey?"
Beggar - "Kenji kenji than ketten, ippadi adichittaanga... enakku thalaiyai sutthudhu, mayakkam varudhu.."
Bystander - "Aiyo paavam ezhaiyai poi kodumai paduthiteenga... muzhusa 5000 roobai kuduthudu..."
Nambi - "Pagal kollaiya irukke. Prachanai indha pombalaikkum engalukkum than"
Bystander - "appadinu yaaru sonnadhu?"
Nambi turns to beggar woman -" Idhai paaru ...Pichakaari darling..."
Bystander - "Yaaruda darling?"
Nambi - "yov, nee vaaiyai moodu.. naan indha darling koda pesittu irukken. Nee kurukka varaadhe. Thattu thatiduven"
Bystander - "Ennathaida thattuve? Nenjula dhillu irundha engitta pesuda..."
Nambi - "Vendaam darling... naan yaarunu unakku theriyadhu..."
Bystander - "unnai edhukku theriyanum?" Other bystanders continue the panchayat. Nambi ignores him and once again pleads with the pichaikari 'darling'
Bystander pushes Nambi down- "en pondaati unakku darling ah? thirumba thirumba adhaiye sollittu irukke..."
There is a lot of commotion, Nambi is manhandled and his protests include a lot of 'darlings' , 'thattiduven' , 'thattidalaam' and the like. Gayathri feeling embarrassed with the situation, silently gets down from the car, walks to the pavement. The traffic gets cleared a little and every vehicle's horn gets pressed. Benny drives away the car without even realizing that his boss and his new darling are missing from it.
Police arrive and disperse the panchayat crowd. Nambi tries to establish his identity with the police 'darling' only to find that his wallet and cell phone missing. Fifty feet away, the bystander and his picchakari wife are gleefully walking away with the booty.
Beggar woman - "Poi oru kilo vengaayam vaangittu, adhai thiruttu kudukkaama bhathirama edutthuttu vaa macchan"
"Sari pulla"
Benny and the car are also nowhere to be seen. He cannot even locate his Gayu darling who is hiding behind a coconut cart. After sometime, sensing the commotion has subsided, Gayathri comes out of her hiding to witness an ambulance promptly arriving and packing Nambi to the mental asylum. She stands in the middle of the road giving a 'ginger eating monkey' look.
From the opposite side of the road, Ashok switches on his mobile - "Prakash, nadu theruvula, pendha pendha muzhichittu irukkara unga anniyai paarkka vedikaiya irukku."
In an icecream shop near the beach :
Sangeetha - "Doctor, enga maama seekiram gunam aagiduvara?"
Physiotherapist❤️ - "Ungalukku adhula enna sandhegam? Unga maama konja naalila running race la kalandhukuvaar. Adhukku naan guarantee. Excuse me waiter, please get icecreams for us in all flavours."
Physiotherapist trashes the cyanide capsule and taps his pocket containing the money bundle.
