ETR Episode Review : The Willing Bride And The Reluctant Bridegroo

An apt title to the episodes, isn't it? Couldn't resist it.seems just like a fairytale and the turn Gayatri's life is taking is sure nothing less than one.

With these episodes, begin the preparations of the upcoming Royal wedding.Needless to say that it will be laden with all the rituals and drama.

Naturally we got to see two contrasting state of mind and behaviour of the two individuals who are soon to be bonded in wedlock.While Gayatri, literally seems to be treading on air then Ranaji's expression of angst finds expression in his cathartic behaviour and outbursts.Gayatri is experiencing a tumult of emotions ranging from ecstasy to anxiety.yes, there's a sense of incredulity in her.And Ranaji, he is rankled on being coerced into an arrangement that is unacceptable to his heart.

Besides this, we witnessed Ranaji's uncle plotting assasination of his nephew.And of course, the much awaited, after a long time, another meeting between #Raga.Now this meeting between them appealed to me : firstly because this was the first time Gayatri conversed with Ranaji.she was shy but not tongue-tied like their earlier meetings.For her, the equation between them has entirely changed.yes, the "man of her dreams" is soon going to become the "man of her life".whereas for Ranaji, she still remains the girl that he often seems to run into.The meeting was also laced with a "symbolic" moment.An unaware Ranaji giving away his beloved wife's bangle to Gayatri, little does he know it has gone into the hands of one destined for it.

All said and done, for me more than the going one of the wedding, what's gonna follow is more of intrigue.With so many options open, namely : 1. The process of Gayatri learning the duties, responsibilities and the basic etiquettes of being a queen.Right from her outward appearance, her posture and her entire demeanor.all this I hope will make an interesting watch. 2. The revelation of truth on Gayatri.that she had misconstrued of Ranaji too having affections for her.My premonition is that whatever have surmised of Gayatri's character, she is not likely to be shattered by this.she'll suffer a setback, yes, but then she is the one who won't give up hope.hope of finding a place in Ranaji's heart eventually. 3. The process of Ranaji thawing up towards Gayatri.being a sucker for romance, this one is of course, not just mine but for many, the most appealing track that will ensue.it will be interesting to see the various stages of this process beginning with : denial"-repression"- antagonistic behavior and avoidance"-realization"-acceptance "-and finally the declaration... 4. Running parallel to all these there's also the plotting and counter plotting.the past of the royal family.so on and so forth.

It's going to be nothing short of one long galore of drama in ETR-2.
