I have been a very regular student at SDIPA. In fact I started as a beginner, went to 2nd level, and then shiamak held auditions among all th ebatches to make a "special potential batch" and I was selected for that as well. As a student in SDIPA< i was fortunate enough to do many stage publich performances with other students.
So it depends on what u r looking for from SDIPA. If you love to dance they are good, but if you are serious about dancing and learning dont expect much in at least first year. SDIAP teaches you dances on one particular song every 2 month session rather than concentrating on one particular dance. BUt slowly u start learning. Thanks to SDIPA i now know basics of jazz, salsa, hip hop, afro-jazz and modern contemporary.
I moved to US, 2.5 years back and had to stop taking classes. I miss them but hats because dancing is my passion.
