Is This Really Dev Pratap Singh??

The Last Scene of Today's Episode was really touching when Chachaji took that Guitar of Devinder and broke it into Pieces and Devinder was in complete tears as if his Chacha has broken all his dreams into pieces😭(Waise was it a real Guitar😕,because when the Guitar was banged on the rock, no electric wires came out of it and it looked like a piece of Cardboard being broken😕😆)...Anyways...I thought the scene was very well directed👏😳

But now something is bothering me😕...Is this really Dev Pratap Singh Reincarnated????😕 ...

Because the Dev which we knew was never scared of anybody😳..He used to dictate his own terms😛 and even his elders whether its NT mom or Panna Chachi had to think twice-thrice even before scolding him😉😆😛...He was the Real Lion King of the Singh Mansion😳

And this New Devinder can't even stop his Chachaji from breaking the guitar..Instead he just kept crying like a small baby which is very much unlike Dev Pratap Singh...Even though the scene was touching😳 but whenever I try to convince myself that he is Dev reincaranated ,my mind and heart just doesn't support me..I know that the character of Dev is different in this Birth but when its a Reincarnation track then there should b some similarity in their personalities na😳...which is absolutely missing

I totally agree with you jyoti! I mean the way they portray Katie, you can actually,after some thinking, accept that she might be kaajjal reincarnated coz of gannu bhaiya and her concept of love! but really apart from the name , devinder doesn't have a singl thing in common with DPS. To me it looks like he is someone else! I mean agree its a new birth but still some of your personality should remain! DPS did not care about anybody and when he roars no one comes near! So I really have doubts on that Devinder! If it was DPS and his precious guitar was broken, the last thing he would do is to sit around and cry! I dunno if his character is gonna change with time but the way he is these days, doesn't make him even an inch of DPS. though he is doing a good job but not as DPS but as Devinder!

Actually in this birth they r showing that the upbringing of Dev is in a lower middle class family and thats why he is scared of taking individual decisions mayb😕 ...but then the same should apply for Kaajjal also😕...Her upbringing has been done in London ,so she should hv been more ultra-modern in her thinking😛,but instead they r showing her more Hindustani😳..and we can see some qualities of old Kaajjal in her😳...So why can't we see some similarities of old Dev in Devinder??😕😕...

Mayb even the makers know that noone can carry out that intensity and spark of DPS as good and flawlessly as Apu😉and therefore mayb they r projecting a completely new avataar of Dev😃

or why do I feel like that in this track they are not concentrating fully on DK but more on Kaajjal! May be thats their new concept! And as you said they probably know that no one can carry the character of DPS as Apu did it flawlessly!

very well said jyoti and komal so i guess i will have to watch todays episodes last scene as i had decided to miss it as no flashbacks😳 u r so right to portray dps will be impossible for any senior actor too but for devinder it is impossible..............

For god's sake when kaajjal can be similar Dev should be too na??But No...the guy seem to be all smiley ogling at kaajjal...pestering her with unwanted things...and seems more like Raju than dev.
But we cant forget Raju was only a Facade Dev put on....Dev was Dev Pratap singh.Aloof carefree dontcare adamant stubborn wih a smile as rare as the full moon..and an uncanny knack To irratate people with his anger and of course his Famous mood swings...And How can we forget the DPS who shouts at one and sundry within a 5 metre distance and sulks till his bottle is over.... 😆

Komal u r right in the new track Kaajjal is given more importance whereas Dev is always shown at her mercy...whereas in the old track....Dev was always the saviour of our kaju😳...

Sameera u should just see the end scene....The scene has been directed very well and that devinder has also acted quite well in it😳...but from no angle he is looking like Dev reincarnated😃...We can accept him as the dhaba boy Devinder Paji but not as Dev Pratap Singh😃

Sharmi its the unique personality and various mould swings of DPS which made this character so adorable and memorable😳 ...and now watching the same character working as the dhaba guy and that too at the mercy of his chacha is like insulting the character of DPS...Sometimes I feel mayb Devinder is Aditya Reincarnated😉😆...See even Kaajjal herself keeps clarifying all the time that he can b never dev...he is just Devinder Paji😉😃
